OT - HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

My dad sent this to me, and it's to cute not to pass on!

"Twas the night OF Thanksgiving"

Twas the night of Thanksgiving and I just couldn't sleep
I tried counting backwards, I tried counting sheep
The leftovers beckoned - the dark meat and white
But I fought the temptation with all of my might.

Tossing and turning with anticipation
The thought of a snack became infatuation
So I raced to the kitchen, flung open the door
And gazed at the fridge full of goodies galore!

I gobbled up turkey and buttered potatoes
Pickles and carrots, beans and tomatoes!

I felt myself swelling, so plump and so round,
Till all of a sudden, I rose off the ground!
I crashed through the ceiling, floating into the sky,
With a mouthful of pudding, and a handful of pie,

But I managed to yell as I soared passed the trees,
HAPPY EATING TO ALL, PASS THE CRANBERRIES PLEASE!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Pam if that were me I would be in serious dumping trouble and I am concerned because I haven't done the turkey routine since surgery because chicken and I ended up getting divorced!  I am wondering if I will have the same experience with turkey? But the poem was too funny! Way to go Pam's dad.

Hmmm...sorry to hear about your divorce with chicken.

When did you last try it?

I'm wondering if the turkey is moist enough and you add some gravy and what not if that will make it better for you.

Good luck!

a couple of months ago it was yummy going down and after that it was a terrible experience I felt so bad I wanted to shove my hand down my throat into my stomach and pull it out.  It happened twice,
