Oh Liz, you ARE so exciting! LOL

I am working until 3:30, going home for dinner then heading to class. I am just as exciting! I had a busy weekend of TONS of homework, paper writing, preparing for my presentation, and baking things for thanksgiving dinner since I have zero time any evening this week.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Morning Liz,

Glad to see everything is going well.  I went crazy at Wallmart's yesterday...lol  Spent to much.

I have a busy work week ahead of me, but am going to my darndest to make it to the gym a couple of times.  I do best at the gym when I go at lunch time.

My weight continues to drop.  I am down 62 pounds post op in just a little less then 12 weeks.  I am sooooo releived the weight is coming off after having had a few frustrating stalls.  I know the stalls will come back again but staying very focused, and grateful the weight is dropping at the moment.  Yesterday I got in a pair of pants that were a size smaller.  This is the second size that I am dropped.  It's nice to know that I could go to a department store and buy a pair of pants again.  It has been quite a while since I was able to do that.

I found a product called CocoPops which are rice cakes, that look like flat taco shells.  Pretty sizeable and only 16 calories.  Someone at one of my support groups turned me on to them.

Well I better start getting ready for this greuling day.

I hope everyone has a terrific Monday.
Geoff

Hi all,

I think I am stubborn.  I guess I should get over it and apply at McDonald's for work.  I really avoid that place but... they are hiring.  UGHHH!  Last time I worked at  McDonald's I broke out in a heat rash lol.  Long story.  Sheetz is another option but I don't know if they are hiring.  Not much out here in the boonies for work options.

Someone sent me a link for Van Driver.  A civil service job and a long process.  Not a great time of year for a driving job.  Hate winter driving!!  I'm bad......

what about a grocery store or even Walmart / Target?

The closest  Walmart is an hour away over mountain roads and there are no Targets within....honestly I don't know, 2-4 hours away?  Jubilee is the store here.  I know a few people who work there and they are not happy but it's work.  I guess I could try there.

Oooooh Liz you are ooober exciting!  I wish I could fill in my life like you do, LOL

Anyway...during the day today will prep some yogurts and what not and probably make the pumpkin ricotta mousse stuff from Saturday to bring to work with me the next couple of nights.  That will first entail, however, running some errands including the bank and the foodstore.  Bank first, however, because I actually need to withdraw money from my account as opposed to using the ATM debit card I have as I cancelled it yesterday when I temporarily had my purse go missing.  People used to have to do this all the time...go to the bank...get money...pay in cash.  Wow.  LOL

Other than that - chilling around the house w/ hubby maybe doing some chores and then a nap before work tonight.

Good morning all - I'm back at work recuperating from a weekend of socializing, too much alcohol and not enough of the 'good foods' so I really need to get my head back in the game today - feeling icky and I know its because of the things I drank and didn't eat. Holidays can be a killer.

The weekend was fun, if not exhausting - 2 1/2 days of work this week then more family arriving and another guest was added to our Thanksgiving table for Thursday, so we'll have a nice group.

Other than that not much on my agenda today other than eating better, NO alcohol, and working out tonight.
