TGIF - Who's Movin' & Groovin' Today???

I woke up at 4:40 and was wide awake so I got up and on my bike - had a very intense 35 minute session with it and hand weights. With conpany coming I know work-outs at night are going to be difficult so I figure I'll get up and work-out in the mornings. I may not get my full hour in on work days but at least I can get something done.

So who else is moving today???

Good job making sure you get your workouts in even if there will be people in your house.  Anything is better than nothing!!

Today, I will do week 3, day 3 of my couch to 5K

I have to say that mornings are the ONLY reliable time for workouts for me... life interferes too much if I try to do it at night.

Anyway, this morning I did half an hour on the elliptical (variable resistance), a little bit of weights, and a nice bit of stretching.  MMMMmmm.

I took a BIG risk today.

My typical classes at the gym were not on the scheudle on Friday...so I took a leap and went to a "Bodypump" class, which is 60 minutes with weights.

Weights - as in barbell weights. With squats. And lunges.

I have only done the tiniest bit with weightlifting with my trainer, so I just selected light weights for the class...but I did it!

Now, tomorrow I probably won't be able to sit down on the toilet I'll be so sore, but hey...I did it!
