Woo Hoo, It's Freaking Friday Roll Call!

it's such an appetizing word, isn't it?!  

Good morning everybody- well today its back to reality and my real job, but yesterday working with the film crew and shooting scenes was a blast!! Everyone has been telling me I'm a natural at it which made me feel really good, but in reality I was just doing my every day job, so it came easy to me, plus I didn't have to look into a camera and recite lines. But we shot scenes from 8:00 until about 2:30 with one break for lunch, so it was a long day. I was honestly tired after all that!! At the last scene of the day I didn't realize that my co-workers had come out of their offices to watch because my back was to them, and when the director said 'Cut and its a wrap!' they all applauded for me!! Seriously 2 years ago I NEVER, EVER would have had the courage to do something like this and I haven't seen myself on the film yet - hopefully I won't be disappointed!

Tonight my sister and brother-in-law arrive from Florida for 10 days (pray for me...) and we have a busy weekend planned. BIG grocery shopping trip tomorrow morning for the thanksgiving feast and to feed the troops who will be visiting this week. Tomorrow evening friends are coming down for the night - Sunday a group of us are heading to Peddler's Village for an outing. I'll be glad when Monday rolls around and I can come back to work to rest!!

So that's my big news of the day -- I think I'll count what I did yesterday as a WOW moment since I did something that was totally outside of my comfort zone and felt good doing it!

Kathy, sounds ike yesterday was fun! Glad you enjoyed yourself and did something you wouldn't have done before.

Jo good luck with the studying. I understand completely, having spent the last 6 years in school and am thinking about doing another 2 after I graduate in May. I must be nuts

Today I'm in work probably till about 2 or so. Can't seem to make it past 2:15. Yesterday I left work at 2, got home and slept from about 4 till 6 this morning. Working again is soooooo exhausting.

Tonight we have a birthday party for a very dear friend we have not seen in about 2 years. I'm really looking forward to that. I'll be taking my own food since my pouch doesn't seem to like anything lately.

Looking forward to the weekend we are supposed to get together with some great friends on Saturday, hopefully that is still on, on friend a minister had a death in her church so we are awaiting confrimation she is still in.

I need to *****!!!!!!  I didn't even read everyone's post this morning, that is how upset I am.....I literally walked into my building this morning and my principal called me into his office.  He is still pissed about yesterday apparently, he asked me if I was tutoring a specific student, so I told him yes - he asked me if I got paid for it, I again said yes, he then told me it was unethical, and had paperwork to back it up.  I said, OK, I will end it.  He said, I should have asked....I have been tutoring this same student for two years.  She came to my house every week over the summer for additional tutoring.  He is sooooo pissed at me, and I guessing for standing up to him, that he is now going to be vindictive.  He can be such a *******  He knows that he can't get me for not doing my job, becuase I am DAMN good at it, and my students and their parents are VERY happy, and my school gets the scores it needs.

So - now I have to laugh - several people have walked into my classroom and called me on the phone - there was an email sent to the entire faculty regarding the ethics of tutoring a student from the building.  EVERYONE knows it was about me.  Entertaining - really!

So - now that I have calmed down a little, here is my day: 

School until 3:15 - then headed home to pick up the family - headed to take Joshua to a friends house who is taking him to camp for the weekend for a Jewish Teen retreat thing....then Larry and the girls and I are going to Larry's brothers house for dinner, then they are taking the girls out while Larry and I head to the installation service of our former rabbi and dear friend.  Then back home some time late tonight.

Tomorrow morning has me taking the girls to their dance dress-rehearsal and then to LIZ's!!!!  YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAAYYY!!!!!

I am not doing too well these days.  I won't go into the litany of pain, but I am really tired of it and must wait till Christmas before seeing the specialist about it. 

Today I am home from school, taking a personal day to deal with some personal issues. 

Steffi, I am sorry about your principal.  Ackerman is dogging those guys as much as us.  My best friend at Baldi just had a mouse in her classroom while handing out breakfast. 

I will not be able to head to Liz's again, as it is my work weekend.  Sorry.  The hospital schedule is pretty much etched in stone, and I desperately need the $$$ these days.

Hi Friends (it's too late to say Good morning!)

Got myself to the gym this morning and then to wor****il 4.  Looking forward to daughter KATIE coming home from college tonight!!!!  She texted me a bit ago that she's looking forward to her own bed and her own kitties tonight, and I can't wait to see her.  She'll be there around 7 or 8, hopefully, and we have her back for a whole week (which will FLY by, I'm sure).  

She hasn't decided whether she's coming with me to cooking class at Liz's tomorrow... it's her and her boyfriend's anniversary so it depends on what they're doing.  Sigh.  I hope she comes - I know she'd love all you guys and have a great time.

So I'm delivering some pieces to a gallery tonight, having dinner with hubby, then waiting impatiently for Katie's arrival.  Haha.
