Just checking in...

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to check in and say HI!

I've been pretty much MIA for the past month or so. I changed jobs and had some family things going on. All in all, everything is going VERY well. I'm officially down 70lbs and I feel amazing! My mom just had her RNY 2 weeks ago and she is doing very well also. She says that I was her "guinea pig" and that she would go through with it if everything went well for me. lol. I don't mind that at all. I still feel that this is the best decision I've ever made for myself and I'm so proud of her and think it was the best thing she could've done also.

I've missed the boards so much. Even though I didn't post much, I've taken a lot of information from what everyone has experienced and posted. Now that things are more settled, I hope to be on a lot more to share what I've experienced and still take from the wisdom of those who share.

Thanks for stopping in and giving us an update on where you are at and how you are doing.  Sounds like you are working your tool and living the "successing" journey.  Congrats on your Mom taking charge of her life too!  May you both have lots of healthy living ahead!
