My thoughts on the meeting last night...

I always feel good after I leaving the meeting. I brought a co-worker to the meeting but she was not ready to hear the truth. BUT this morning she stopped by my desk and told me that Dennis told her what she NEEDED to hear. I second that and told her that I am only a few desks away and I am here for her. Support is here but you have to want it. I am so grateful this year for my health first and foremost then this board and the Barix support group and finally I know I can come here and feel the love and encouragment that I get from each and every one of you. Please don't ever let me quit even at my lowest point in my life. Thanks a million for everything you have done for me. Love ya all!!!

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Ditto to what you said Shilpa and I for one won't let you quit!

Hi Shilpa,
And say hey to your co-worker Donna for me too. She knows what she needs to do, and not do. It's up to her. And when she decides to start on the good journey again I will be more than willing to help her, if she wants it. I'll never quit.

Thanks and love you,

Dennis

To quote someone else "QUITTING IS NOT AN OPTION", we won't let you, if you let us help you.  To quote an advertisement with a twist on it, "WLS FRIENDS DON'T LET WLS FRIENDS DO THEMSELVES IN".

There is a lot of support on these boards and at the meetings to be had, but you must be a willing participant.  We will always be here for those that want and need it.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.
