Totally Bragging...wow moment

All right, so I am not normally one to toot my own horn...but this was such a wow for me I had to share.

Last night I was at the mall looking for a couple of skirts for church and upcoming holiday function sort of things.  I was thinking about the fact that last year I was limited to the women's plus size clothes and I remember buying a size 22 skirt for my work Christmas party.  Last night I was just having fun trying on different clothes and saw some really cute jeans.  I thought I would try on a pair a size smaller than I bought a month or so ago and found out I can wear a size 4 jean!!!  Holy Smokes, how did that happen????

My weight has been stable for about a month or so but I still seem to be shrinking in parts of my anatomy.  This journey really is amazing.  While there is a lot of work involved I am so happy about all of the changes in my life since my surgery in February.

Thinking about it makes me so happy.  Yeah for us for making this decision for ourselves!!!

Just thought I would share.  Take care everyone!

Joylyn,

That's an awesome WOW!!!!  I can't imagine wearing a size 4!  The only 4 I've ever worn has had a 1 but more likely a 2 in front of it!  Were you doing a happy dance in the dressing room???     You should have been---you deserve it!!!

Definitely doing a happy dance.  Never could I have imagined a 4 either.  I was ecstatic when I got to 14!  4 is even better though.  Woo hoo!  Thanks for the message!

Whooo hooo!!

Without changing weight you may change size - it all depends on muscle mass, exercise, etc.  I think I changed sizes for a good couple of months after my weight had stabilized!

So glad you had fun shopping!
