Super Sunday Roll Call
Good Morning All,
Can't believe I get to start out this morning. Did not check the weather, but hope that it will at least not be raining, I need to get my grandchildren out to run around. They not only need it but so do I. Sleep eludes me lately, I guess with the surgery getting closer, my mind will not shut down. So an outside activity for the kids and I are a good idea. Then some sewing this afternoon. I got some flannel, and a pillow that is a little larger than a travel pillow, which I plan to cover to take to the hospital with me. I guess I will cook a large dinner before my daughter goes to work later this afternoon, as the liquid diet starts on Wed. That's it for me. Have a good day all.

Hi all,
This may be the only really nice day so I am hoping to do some outside grilling today. I don't have alot planned as of yet. We shall see.
I am happy that I may qualify for free training through the Walmart Foundation so I am hoping to get a career under foot. I have my second interview by phone this week for the job in NC. I will accept whatever the outcome. The chance to get some training here is very appealing.

Looks like a pretty day out there! Heading to Zumba class shortly, then plan another full day in the studio. I have 4 pieces in their last stages of completion that I hope to finish today, along with a couple more cuff bracelets, maybe... Hopefully I can post preliminary pics tonight!
Last night's opening went well, although not as many people as we had hoped. However, the show is up throughout the holiday shopping season, so we can hope that it will gather steam as people get going in earnest with their holiday shopping.
Making pulled pork for dinner tonight (yay!), maybe with Liz's wonderful ginger barbecue sauce, assuming i can find the recipe. I know i have it somewhere! Otherwise, I've got a couple of others I can use, but I'm craving that one for some reason right now.

Happy Sunday Ena.. hope you get to go outside today.. Fresh air does wonders for the brain and body!
It looks like it's going to be a beautiful day here today. I have already opened up some windows to let some fresh air in!
The sleepover is about to wrap up. The girls are cleaning up the tornado that hit the living room last night. The 2 friends went to sleep sometime around 1, I think. Mine was still up around 3 when I got up to go to the bathroom. She is going to be a JOY today, I can just taste it!! BUT, they had a really good time last night and I was a good mom and left them alone.
Today, I'm working on day 2 of the liquid diet. It's hard, but I am going to do it. The only thing I did that the surgeon did not tell me to is put some protein into my decaf this morning. I think it will help a lot with the hunger and it can't hurt too much. It won't stretch my pouch.
I have no real plans for today. Siehara is already crabby so I have a feeling that we are going to be just hanging out and resting. I do need to get to the drug store to pick up Calcium and B-12 as I will be out by the middle of the week. Maybe I can convince Siehara to take a walk with me. I'm not going to try to run since I have no fuel in me.

Today I have to complete all my homework to submit today rather than tomorrow since I go back to work tomorrow. Won't have the day to mosy with the homework for submission.
So the sun is shining and it seems like it could be a good day to take the Harley out of the garage, but I must complete this degree on time so homework is my priority today.

Good morning!
Well today has me finishing up the laundry...marking some tests and finish scraping the hideous wallpaper and 4 layers of paint off my bedroom walls...so much fun and excitement I can hardly stand it....
Getting a bed this week--yay!!! Sleeping on the floor so not good for my back, my neck, my hips, --you name it it is SORE...lol...but I am surviving...hopefully this bed will help with my sleep and energy levels cause I have been feeling like crap...cant shake a bronchial infection...coughing like a madwoman...but I'll be alright!!!
Other than that --Sunday is looking like it is going to be a spectacular day with tons of sunshine and good weather...maybe I will sit outside for a little while and just enjoy the pleasant weather.
