Hi Lisa,
You have gone through ALOT in the past few months.  If anyone can do it I know that you can.  Take care of yourself.
Hugs Ena

Hi Lisa,

I know exactly what you are going through and agree that some of the old habits want to creep back in.  I've had similar issues, and changed a few things, which has helped.  I'm far from perfect and don't lose like I'd like to, but I've held my own for 3-1/2 years.  I told you that your doc, who also assisted my doc in my RNY surgery, told me the same things he's telling you.  I didn't agree with all of them, but must admit that I do like what he told you about going back to liquids.  I may try that myself.

Most evenings I am going to bed early so that I don't snack at night.  I find that when I stay up late, I go after anything I can find.

Another thing that I do is put everything I don't want to eat (but keep for company) in the freezer.  I have trained myself that once it hits the freezer, it is out-of-bounds.  It works for me.

I was getting very hungry and started to eat shelled sunflower seeds.  It's a lot of work to unshell them, it keeps me busy, and they are protein.  Also, I find that I don't eat a lot of them.

I hope this all helps.  I'll see you in shul on Saturday.  I look forward to it.

Linda
