I'm Home
Sorry to worry you all. My surgery was at 7:45am, woke up in recovery and did not even remember going to sleep. Surgery took about 4 hours, I stayed down most of Wednesday night, except for one walk about 9pm. Thursday was much better. I did my swallow at 7:30am, yummy, I thought for sure I was going to throw up, 100ml's are they crazy???? But did ok, I came back to my room, hurting, and found my IV has blown, so the only pain meds were going down the old fashioned way, which took a lot longer to dissolve. I have been off the pain meds all day today I don't like the woozy feeling and am taking just Tylenol every 4hours. So that is the scoop. I am feeling pretty good, just taking all your advise and walking and sipping and tooting and burping. I trying not to mess myself. Thanks for all the thoughts, I will try to get on here as much as I can. You all are wonderful!!
