My Turn to be bored - How about this... What does everyone do for a living???

WE did this a while back and it was fun to learn something about the "other side" of what everyone does!!

I am a graphic designer / project manager (and about 10 other hats) for a sign company in Horsham, PA - City Sign Service. If you've been to a Target, Philadelphia International Airport, International Plaza, CBS 3 (in Philly****A, Lincoln Financial Field, or most of the area malls you've seen our work!

So what do you do that takes up most of your life? lol

I am a Physicians Office Clinical Assistant for a Nephrologist. What the hell does that mean? Well......

In my office it means,

I answer phones, schedule appts, refill meds, check in patients, check out patients, room patients, take vitals, collect and test urine samples, update med record, collect co-pays, and bill for the appts.

It's just me and the doc that work in a shared space with another practice. So I do it all, and help him any way I can.

In one month though.......I will be a Full Time Nursing student and will only be PRN for the Nephrology office. Yay me!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Thanks for revisiting this Liz.. we have a lot of new people so this should be fun!

I work for Aetna health insurance FROM HOME as an implementation consultant. What that means is after plans are sold and go through underwriting, they come to me and I review them to be sure what the company wants is legal and appropriate for the state they live or work in.  Then, I compare all the legislation to find the best benefit and enter it all in the system.  I don't really enjoy what I am doing right now, but I am grateful to have a job!!  I am always looking WITHIN Aetna for a new position.  I would hate to leave the company now since I have 11 years in.  My goal would be to be a trainer.  Then, I could use my bachelor's degree in education that I am still paying for.

Hi!  I grew up in Brookville and lived in Dubois for awhile.  I think I was even at Rainbowtique years ago!   I have lots of friends in the Brockway area!  Small world!

I balance my time between fighting dogs and selling beer and cigarettes to teenagers.

The dog fighting is ultimately where my heart lies, but I can't turn down the repeat business and wonderful profit margins that the beer and cigarette business offers.
