**Thursday Roll Call**

Well now!  About 6 hours in and at the same time 6 hours left....half way through the day for me.

Spent the first four hours "in the box" last night....second triage which was running "hot and cold" if you will.  Either I had nobody or I was backed up.  Feast or famine.

Now I am "leading" in one of the pods...and two of the nurses "under me" we refer to as "tweedle dee and tweedle dumb".....so you can figure out how thrilled I am.

Anyway..mailing some stuff on the way home and then it'll be to bed for me.

Back at work tonight 7p for my last of the 12 hour shifts for the week!  (and really it will only be two 12 hour shifts this week because of last nights gift :)

Stay warm - it was pretty freaking cold out there before!

Wow...someone else awake at this hour.  You're working, so you have an excuse though.  My Thursday will be a busy one and tiring if I don't get my butt to bed.  I actually work on the ambulance tonight Pam, maybe I'll be seeing you.  I was in the other night too but forgot to look for you.  Been a busy couple days and starting to come out of my post-baseball season depression.  Haven't posted much on here lately but have been reading. 

The kids have school tomorrow and I plan on going to my grandmothers to do some work at her house.  Other then that, work at night and that's all.  Ok, so I think I might be rambling, so I am off to bed.

morning all...

looks like I was able to get up in time for OT today.  I am so tired in the mornings.  I really need to get to bed earlier, but I am wired at the end of the day.  OY.

bingo IF I can figure out a way to scrounge up $50 so I can go AND pay the babysitter.... looks like I might be staying home, since pay day is not until tomorrow.

It's always a bummer when you dont have the cash to go do something you really want to. Hide 50 bucks this week, so you can make sure you can go next week!

I usually do have it.. I just ran into some unexpected expenses these past few weeks and of course pay day is tomorrow.

Let's see...it's not even 5:30 and I am up and dressed. Heading into Philly for a morning meeting, then drive to a Philly high school for some work with their staff, then drive to Valley Forge for an evening meeting (have to get there early for a 7 p.m. start). So I'll be spending time in the car today, hopefully with a little break to get some Wendy's chili for dinner!

PS - excited for tomorrow! I am taking a vacation day and ****xercising with trainer Rikki, then (2) driving to CT to pick up my dear friend and then (3) heading to Vermont for a weekend together to celebrate her 50th birthday! This will be FUN!!!  (Even with more time in the car!)

Steffi I am going to Olney East. I work for the Middle States Assn., mainly working with high schools seeking accreditation. Been here for almost 7 years - before that I was a teacher, consultant, and principal.

Oh - I teach at Decatur Elementary school in the northeast - My son is a student at Northeast High - that is why I was curious.  What did you teach and where were you a principal?
