I agree ........... thank a vet!!!!

The day starts with my final visit for the 6 months of supervised weight loss. A semi big day ........ but the bigger one is next week to see if I met Brader's weight loss requirement.  Still pissed that I didn't wait to quit smoking.  
Then I'm off the the Wilkes Barre area for a training class.  That used to mean a stop (or two) at Grottos Pizza. Not this time. :(

Sorry to hear you are suffering from the monthly.  I have not had one in a year, so I think I have crossed the menopause line.  Will talk to the doc at my annual in December.

Today has me able to have slept in due to having off for Veterans Day.  What a thrill.  I am so tired, and needed the extra R&R.  

I plan to get some laundry put away, and tidying done, then off to see my therapist.  I hope the rain clears, because I hate days off with rain.

Good morning everyone,
Officially following the pre surgery diet. They are saying only have to do 3 months. I have a nut class in Dec and then Jan nut class is for post op diet info. Then the big insurance submition. I can't wait. My surgeon doesn't require a certian amount of weight loss just some weight lost and showing understanding of the diet rules. I lost 3 pounds from Nov. 3rd surgeon consult to the Nov. 9th nut class so, that is pretty good. I started right away following the diet rules I already knew becuase they said at the surgeons if I gain wieght the insurance is likely to turn me down and they won't be able to appeal. I have a chiropractor consult this morning and then nothing else planned for the day.

Good morning everyone - Happy Veterans Day to all those who have served or are serving now - my dad was a sailor in WWII and the Korean War - I know they will be putting flags on his marker today and I'm grateful for that since its too far for me to go do it.

Today is also my 20th wedding anniversary so hubby and I are treating ourselves to dinner out at Legal Seafoods over at the King of Prussia mall after work. We don't normally exchange gifts for our anniversary but I did buy him a little Phillies mug and a box of Asher's sugar free chocolates (which he has to share with me since I know he didn't buy me anything!!). Anyway, that's our 'big' plan for the day. I did pull my wedding album out last night and we all looked at it - marveling over how much some have change (I actually weigh less now than when I got married!), and friends and family who are no longer with us, so it was sort of bittersweet.

My morning hasn't started out that great so far - went to walk the dog and of course its raining like crazy so we had to go back in for the umbrella - get outside and the recycle truck is coming up the street making a racket so it spooked the dog who almost drug me back into the garage and house. We get inside then he runs to the other door because I know he has to go, so out we go again (truck is gone) walking in the wind and rain - what fun. And I just looked at the tan blazer I'm wearing today and must have gotten against something greasy or dirty in the garage and have a huge dark mark across the bottom of it - good thing its dark in Legal Seafoods - hopefully nobody will notice (except me).

So anyway, I'm here...it is officially a holiday for us but the boss was good enough to let us work it then take the day later this year, which worked for me because I'm down to 2 vacation days that I'm hoarding like a miser - LOL!! With this extra day I can take Xmas week off with hubby, so I'm looking forward to that.

I have one paper completed and submitted so far today. My discussion's posted for the online class.

Still have some homework to work on for the rest of today.

Have to get my butt on the treadmill.

Back to work in 5 days, I don't want to go back, I'm enjoying this stay at home stuff. This is the first time since my oldest daughter was born that I've been home this long she is now 30 yrs old.

God morning All - Pam - I am sure you are asleep by now - I hope it is pleasant and restful!

I am off today - VERY thankful to the Veteran's who have made our country such a wonderful place to live.

We are all off today, and someone suggested that a trip to the Camden Aquarium might bea good idea - I have never been - so when Larry waked up - I think that is what we are going to do today.  Before that - I have the big kids going to the therapist for a session and then to pick up Emily at my step-dad's.  Then home to have lunch, wake up daddy and then hopefully off to the Aquarium....now I am getting excited! :)

My guess is tonight will be dinner out with the family and home to get ready to go back to school tomorrow. 

Thank you to EVERYONE who helped me get through my LONG boring day at school yesterday - it was sooo fun!  I love you all! :)

And here I though you were going to travel to Gettysburg on your day off. Let your family explore the Battlesfields and Ghost Tours as you attend Algebra class with me. Humph!

As exciting as that sounds - And...sadly, I would ACTUALLY enjoy your Algebra class....I am pretty sure that my family would like my presence - not sure why though....but I will feel LESS guilty over the next few days that I am going ot be away from them if I torture myself with them today! :)
