Tuesday exercise

Alright people, it's almost 1:00.. I know someone has gotten off their tush and done some sort of exercise..

As for me, I just got back from walk/jogging week 2 day 2 of couch to 5K.. 5 min warm up alternate 90 secs jog with 2 minutes walk for 20 minutes, then 5 min cool downRunning

After work, I will go to the gym and do legs and abs Sit Up

Who else is moving today?!?!

Well I got up and walked the dog this morning and went out shopping at lunch. So far today I've logged 3500 steps.

Yes, we got pedometers yesterday at work, so now we have a mission - we are on a 'Million Steps for Pizza Lunch' crusade beginning yesterday and ending 12/18/09 - by then we have to have a total of one million steps between the 9 of us in my office! I created a spreadsheet this morning so everyone can go in daily and log their steps, and also added the YMCA step conversion chart (ex: last night I rode my bike for 60 minutes - at a 'moderate' pace you get 189 steps per minute doing that, so I had over 11,000 steps!!) - anyway, its something fun to do and get us all moving and grooving more.

Tonight I will bike it again for another hour and another 11,000+ steps!

you work that 5K girl!

I thought of you tonight when I wanted to poop out....but I finished the 3.1 anyway.
Then 20 min elliptical.

I was entirely too sore for weight training tonight..I really over did it the other day. So I caught a break tonight.

Cant wait to see your progress with the 5k training!!!!!

I'm trying Jen!!!  I think it was a little over 1.5 miles today.. 30 mins total with the warm up and cool down.. I did it on the street near my house instead of in the parking lot or on the treadmill.  The hardest part was the first hill because the 1st run started right near the top of it.  I'm going to have to start my 5 min warm up on the sidewalk instead of right in front of my apartment so I don't have to run on that hill yet.

I walked 30mins at lunch then did an hour step class after work. Now, I am sore and tired but it was so worth it.
5'9 and a size 6...I love my tool.

I did an hour on my elliptical this morning. I just have been super busy so I have not been able to post this thread. Thanks for keeping it going.
