I'm bored!

Hi all - I am sitting in my classroom surrounded by MANY 8th graders who are taking a test! I am bored - and I am blocked from facebook here and SO DESPERATELY want to talk to people.....sooooooooo.....what's going on?!?!  All smart-ass comments are accepted, and actually preferred!  Yup - this is what your children's teachers do while they are slaving over a test....don't you feel better about our education system?!?!  HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Ha ha !!!! Love it!!! My lovelies are busy coloring in their Compare/contrast booklets...so here I am perusing OH...

You crack me up!!! Enjoy the quiet of test time!!! It is never quiet in my 2nd grade...LOL

Thanks! I try to entertain! :)  I have been perusing all morning.  And also checking my school district email and my regular email - I have also checked my bank statement - and can you believe - some of these kids actually ask for my help...don't they know that they are interrupting my fun time here....geez....:)

It is probably the ONLY reason I still have my job! :)  I am sure my principal would be totally on top of that one- I don't think his skinny self has any idea that this site is here!  shhhhh...don't tell him!

Steffi:  I too am board, I am waiting for my prison patient to get here.  I am staying away from the lunch room today so I am confined to my desk.  Glad to hear I am not alone in my boredom.   So here is a topic what do you think about the DC Sniper being executed today.  I have mixed feelings, though I understand the position of the families.  I am not sure I agree with an eye for an eye. What do you think?

I remember this one!  I am still not sure how I feel about him being executed - I can't imagine how I would feel if it was a member of my family.  I try to teach my students all the time about consequences and following the rules even if you don't agree with them.  There are ways to go about making change and disagreeing and making up your own rules is not one of them.

I don't necessarily agree with an eye for an eye - however, I also am tired of my tax money being spent on people who choose to turn to a life of crime and murder!
