I know that the PB2 powder has its own particular uses and fans, but for simplicity I prefer Better Than Peanut Butter or (much cheaper) Simply Jif. Both are available at Giant. Simply Jif is slowly finding its way onto the shelf almost everywhere (under $2 a jar recently at WalMart).
I also found Heinz low sugar ketchup at the regular grocery store - probably cheaper than ordering. (Yes, WalMart had this one too, as well as a local Lancaster County chain).
Barix sells the shake it up cup (for $7) - but I saw that at a WalMart (out of state, at a brand new store). The price was $2.99! So check around if you want to save a few $$.
FYI - I've found DaVinci syrups at TJ Maxx in their gourmet food aisle! It's always worth a look, although they don't have all the flavors. A bottle lasts me a L-O-N-G time!
The low carb products will be a matter of taste - and a decision - for you. At 4 months out, I have not had any bread products at all, aside from Communion at church. With what I have learned about food addiction, I know that refined carbs are a huge trigger food for me, and prefer to steer wide and clear around them....or "healthier" versions that mimic these kinds of foods. Of course, pre op you may find these are helpful in losing some pre op weight.
Hopefully someone here will point you toward the protein samples. It can save you a LOT of money!
Best of luck!

I absolutely LOVE the SF DaVinci Syrups. I haven't tried the PB one or the White Chocolate one, though. My favorites aren't on your list - I prefer the coconut one and the pineapple one (and you can mix these two together in yogurt to make it taste like a pina colada!)
I have to second the other poster who mentioned something about carbs. You have a lot on your list here that deals with carbs. Especially early out - you don't want to test that potential "hazard" if you will. You will need to foucs on protein first. And many people (myself included) find carbs to be a trigger. You may not even want to experiment with stuff like that early out.
Also remember that your tastes will change after surgery - so if you find something you like now (especially protein powders) do NOT buy a big container right after surgery. You may absolutely hate it. Stick with sample packs post op until you know what you will like.
Oh - and I LOVE ordering from netrition - due the flat rate shipping! I haven't had a problem with them
You can find a few of the soy tortilla chips and low carb tortillas and stuff in the grocery stores these days, too

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Please keep in mind that none of this stuff will taste the same after surgery. Your tastebuds will change from day to day. One day you'll love something the next you won't. Somedays it will taste good, but you won't tolerate it. Stay away from Pasta in any form for at least the first year. The Kay's Products I have tried have an odor and taste stale. The Bob's Red Mill products I purchased in the supermarket were putrid and were thrown out, Pita Bread is not something you should even consider in the first year. Your going to need to focus on real food, not boxed stuff. Unless your willing to let this stuff sit until its expiration date.
You can get protein powder samples from www.enjoyhealth.com. I ordered from them and they were reasonable and there seemed to be more than one serving in each package. Just let me tell you that they package there samples in small zip lock bags and not ones that are factory sealed. I had no problems. Someone one else posted that they ordered samples from them, and one of the bags came open in shipping. They called them and had no questions asked, and replaced the items. Anyone I have heard from on hear had no problems with them. They sent me a lot of freebies with my order which my grandchildren loved. (pencils, rulers, little tablets and a pen) Check them out see what you think.
