Onederland!

Last Sunday, I made it to Onederland!!!  I only told a couple of people, though---I think I was afraid if I said it out loud, it wouldn't be real.  But I've stayed there all week, with the scale going down little by little, so I decided this would be a good time to make it real.  What a great feeling to be here!!!! 

This whole journey has been mind-boggling, as you all know.  Going through clothing sizes so quickly, watching my body almost melt away, people not recognizing me---how wild!!!  When I had my surgery, I was wearing tight 24s/loose 26s, and now I'm in size 16.  I've lost 79 lbs!!!  In just 4 1/2 months!!!  I've given away 7 bags of clothes (well, 3 of them are being donated to Goodwill today) and gotten back into smaller stuff that I've held onto for years.  (So glad for that---my turtlenecks fit again, so now I have a chance of being warm!!  lol) 

I'm loving Onederland!!!!

Whooooo hoooooo!!!  ONEderland always needs new residents!!!

Your turtleneck comment made me giggle.  I have a HUGE problem with things anywhere near my neck - always have.  And a favorite comedian of mine has a line I LOOOOVE:  Wearing a turtleneck and a back pack is like walking around being strangled by a very weak midget all day.

Enjoy your new smaller, warm clothes!  Your weight AND your clothing size both begin with ONE now!  How cool!
