Frigid Friday Roll Call
Goodness gracious it's freaking cold out there!
I'm here at work for another 63 minutes and counting!!!
Hopefully if I'm not to tired on the way home I'll do some grocery shopping. Need a few items.
If I am to tired, I'll nap first at home and then go shopping.
At some point today I'm meeting up with my friend - we are babysitting her 2 1/2 year old Saturday evening and the little girl has never met us - so we are meeting her to hopefully prevent stranger shock on Saturday.
Gonna need to talk to hubby. He had his labs done....and his cholesterol is quite high. We'll need to talk to the doctor about this. I personally would love to see some dietary changes...but I think I'll have a real fight on my hands. So I think, at least for now, it will probably be some sort of medication. We'll see. Either way...he's gonna start taking an aspirin a day at the very least. Sucks being married to a nurse who can look up your labs, I tell you!
Other than that...not a whole lot going on

hi everyone!
It was nice and sunny and 70 yesterday down here in NC. It was like I never left. I cannot believe all the "eye candy" down here! So many shops, restaurants and lots to keep the eye moving! It is amazing how nonstimulated we are up there in Potter County. No wonder everyone drinks, well not everyone lol
My eyes and hands are having a field day. Went into this shop called Anthropologie and was amazed at the beautiful styles that are out now. Anyway, I have had to use great restraint!
Today is my interview! Wish me whatever is supposed to happen. Vibes, prayers, luck, I'll take it!

Pam good luck with your hubby, I hope you win the battle.
I am sooooo happy it is Friday, but wish the workday was over. It has been a long week.
i found out yesterday that my mom had a couple of mini-strokes and she has some weakness on her left side. I am going to drive down to Philly for a visit tomrorow. She leaves for the winter to go to Florida at the end of the month.
I sure hope she will be okay. Kind of gets you rattled when you hear news like that.
I am down 52 post op pounds today and feeling pretty good about that. Not bad for 9 weeks. Looking back I am so happy that I had this surgery even with all the complications. I got myself hooked up with a wonderful support group and feel very lucky to have met such nice people. Almost all of them have been successful and have lost over 100 lbs, so they have a lot of knowledge and are always trying new and fun products from various websites. Their latest is primal strips which are very good. primalspiritfoods.com I have only had the thai peanut which was really good. 10 g of protein
I have an appointment with my Net after work and looking forward to seeing her.

Yes, it's cold. But I am just thankful it isn't raining! LOL
I am at wor****il 3:30. then taking coy, Sawyer and Riley to thier dad's for the weekend. Johnny will be gone all evening/night and tomorrow morning at a racing flea market in Harrisburg. So Jantzen & I will head to Kohl's, then grocery shopping then home to cuddle in bed and watch some TV. I think I will let the little man sleep with me tonight! LOL
Pam, i struggled with Johnny and his Labs for 3 years. He FINALLY has asked me to help him get his numbers down. I couldn't force him and although it was important to me, it just wasn't to him at the time. Since we've had Jantzen, he has opened his eyes and decided that it IS important and is making a dietary effort to get those numbers to a good level. So good luck!

Good Morning - it is darn cold out there! This is too much like winter for me! Guess I am going to have to break out the winter coat this weekend... Ugh!
I am not feeling well today, seem to have caught a cold. Runny nose, sore throat, headache - just yuck!
I have to stop quickly at the Larder (a bulk foods store) after work to get a few things for next weekend's Cookie Weekend with my family then home to crash. If I am not feeling better I might try to sneak out of work around 1. We'll see if that happens....

Brrrrr.....It is so cold out. I had to wear my hat. I'm losing so much hair and although I'm not really a hat person, it really does help.
Today has me at work til 3:30 and then I will catch up with my boyfriend. Due to work schedules, I haven't seen him since Monday.
Tomorrow night we are going to a friends annual bonfire. It was kind of lame last year - I hope its more fun this time around.

Hey all. I am very happy it is Friday been a rough few weeks. My talk last night was fine and it is over thank God. We have a relaxing weekend on tap which we have not in awhile. I am getting a massage tonight after the chiropractor. Good luck pam with taming the beast LOL
