A fellow OH friend from the Preggo board lives in Ft. Hood. She and kids are safe, but she still hasn't heard from her husband. Lets all pray for those going through this tragedy. It's so sad and hard to imagine having to go through something like this...............

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

When I was first married, I was an Army wife, and my husband had orders to Ft. Hood.  He was able to get them changed to Ft. Devens, in Massachusetts.  We knew many families back then that went to Ft. Hood.  It is a huge base.

Please keep us posted.

Hugs,
Trish

I have been out of touch all day so I have no idea what happened, but I am glad to hear your friend and kids are ok.

Jo,

Please pass along all of our thoughts and prayers to her.  I will look for updates as soon as I am done typing this.

Prayers coming their way.  Hopefully the government will put some type of screening process into effect for our troops.  They used to disallow immigrants to hold high government offices due to the fact that they may be sleepers.  Somewhere along the way this was altered.  Our homeland security issues need to be re-examined.

Some days your the dog and some days your the hydrant.
