Thrilling Thursday Roll Call

Why thrilling?? Well the weekend is almost here! lol

Not much planned for me today - wor****il 4 then off to the grocery store and home to relax. Chris surprised me last night and cleaned the ENTIRE kitchen! All I did was ask him to put away the dishes! LOVE that man

What are you guys up to today?

Oh Liz this is funny as I was posting thursday's roll call so were you.  Great minds think alike. Do you think Chris can talk to George? I think if he cleaned the kitchen the shock would be heard around the world!

lol just get pregnant! That's what worked for me. He hates to see me sick and well I can't do much around the house right now. He has been a huge help. The novelty shall wear off shortly though! lol

I just unpacked 3 boxes of "stuff" that has been in moving boxes since we came to this house 3 years ago. Mostly photo albums and things I will not throw out, but until this past weekend, I didn't have shelves in the closet where such things would  be organized and kept. Hubby got ambitious last Saturday and now I'm all set!

And - have a load of laundry in already this morning.

So...today's lineup:

Work - still catching up from 2 weeks out of the office. Got an early start today, as I am working from my home office.
My first appt. with a personal trainer is today! I can hardly wait to see how THAT goes!
Plan dinner....which will be a quickie.
Tonight we have theater tix to see "Dial M For Murder" at the Fulton Theater in Lancaster. We have had season tickets for 2 years and love the Fulton!

I've never been to Fulton, but would love to check it out sometime! Have fun.

Good morning PA friends......

Today has me at work til 3:30 and then another night working at the Doc's.  Hopefully it won't be too crazy.  The last two night weren't too horrible.

oy.. didn't sleep well last night.. stupid me stayed up thinking that I might get a visitor.. didn't come, started texting me around 10 and called around midnight.. I get all happy thinking he's stopping by and he doesn't.. no OT for me this morning.   Dang men... I should know better

PLUS, I started to feel sniffles and sore throat starting last night.  Makes me mad because I am scheduled for a FREE flu shot at work today and now I probably won't be able to get it.. is that how that works? I've never had a flu shot, so I don't know if they will give it to me or if I should just not bother going.. anyone?

Rocco 3:30ish  (that's our new time --ish)  working biceps, back,abs.. he wants me to do a full sit up and I can't do it yet. WHY NOT?!?! I have no clue?  could be the fear of what is going to come out of my butt if I try?!  LOL!

don't tell them lol if you are just sniffling you should be fine.

If you tell them you have a cold, they probably won't give it to you.

If you don't say anything and get it, it won't do any damage per say.  However...although you can't get the flu from the flu shot, it DOES bring your immune system into over drive and that alone can make you feel a little under the weather - achey tired etc.  It's not an illness, just your white cells gearing up for a possible fight.  Between the flu shot effects and the cold you might feel a bit crappy within the next couple of days.
