1 Year Post Op

Today was the aniversary of my surgery.   I like to think of November 5th as my second birthday.

I never could have expected things to go this well.  I'm at my goal weight. I've lost 106lbs. I've lost 52 1/2 inches and my son just picked me up without a problem.  Boy that was weird!  I'm wearing one of my husbands flannel shirts.  I used to struggle to button it and today I swim in it.  So many possitive changes in my life.

I would recomend this surgery to anyone.  I also recomend this board highly.  You all have made this journey so much easier for me!

I've set new smaller goals for myself and continue to work with the tool.

Love to you all!

Diane

Way to go Diane.

My 1 year was on the 3rd.  I am also at goal and saw the Dr today.  He is very pleased with my results.  My labs were all good.  Yahoo.  I like you would recommend this surgery.
It has had its ups and downs but I would do it all again in a heart beat. I feel so much better.

I may not post often but I check the boards daily and have been very grateful for all the posts. It sure has made it easier to stick to the program and know I am not alone.

Special thanks to Liz for all her receipe posts.  One of these days I will make it to your cooking class.

Thank you all.
