Wednesday Roll Call

I'm new to this and not exactly sure what a roll call is....do we just post our plans for the day and stuff like that or significant events? I'll post a little something and if I did it wrong you can beat me up later. ;)

Today I'm taking a half day at work and then I'm going in for my 6 week check up with Dr. Boe. I'm a little scared because my food journaling sucks, I have posts in like 5 different online food tracking programs, none of which I really like.

After that I plan on going home, hopefully squeeze in a quick workout before I'm off to my therapy session.

I'm a bit nervous to see what my weight will be today. I haven't been weighing myself so this checkup will be the first update I've had in a while.

You got it! We just confirm the "boringness" of our lives with each other!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

Corrine,

Roll call is just a post where we can let one another what is/or isn't going on in our lives, a way to connect, stay accountable, get support and you did fine!

I tried fitday.com and then someone suggested Sparkpeople.com, I love Sparkpeople, I'm guessing there is no perfect fit for everyone, just pick one and log, it's a good way to keep track of what goes in, so when you hit a stall, you can reassess what is going in and what needs to change. . .

Best wishes, Laureen

Good morning, Laureen, although I'm late signing in.  Lots of early morning stats on the system this morning which kept me busy.

Continued good wishes for Dillinger!  He's a real fighter and champion!  I'm sure things will be just fine.  He's very lucky to have such a loving home with you.

Not too much happening today.  I should walk on the treadmill, but I think walking the incline of 9 the other day pulled something in my knee and I don't want to pu**** so I'll wait another day or so.

Just finished a protein drink and now off to get dressed.  Have a wonderful day everyone!

Hello, friends...

Well, I got my butt to the gym this morning and did a nice (but quick) full circuit workout.  One of the women in the locker room commented as I was getting dressed that she's envious (gasp!) of the "cute outfits you get to wear to work" as she was putting on her jeans and sweats.  LOL!  As she has no clue that I've just dropped 86 pounds, she was unaware of the impact her offhand compliment had, but it made me smile all morning.

Work has been SO frustrating today - full of sidetracks and emergency off-shoots, all of which have pulled me away from the stuff that REALLY needed doing.  But I'm a bit caught up now and can catch my breath.  Hopefully I haven't just jinxed it.

This afternoon I drop my jewelry off at the second gallery - that only leaves one more to deliver to next week.  I can then catch my breath a little and focus on making the "quick" products for the table shows I have during the holidays - things like cuff bracelets, watches, etc.  So I THINK i can see a little glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.  Yay!

Laureen - Dillinger is one tough cookie and has had such wonderful support from you over the years.  So glad to hear he's holding on in a positive way.

Good Morning Laureen & PA;
Long day yesterday at the hospital with dad. Had some problems with the anesthesia, have to go over that again today now that I'm more awake cause I was not making much sense of things yesterday. Dad's BP was 114/55 when we left the hospital. That is great for dad.

Not much planned for today. SEPTA strike making me stay indoors and not want to drive.

Still have to take a walk. Gene has clients this afternoon and tonight.

So much for my exciting day

Ida
