6 month blood work

Hi All!    I have been laying low for a couple weeks, but all is well.    I am on facebook a lot more now than on OH it seems.
I've been checking in on OH to see how you all are doing, too.

So today I got the results of my 6 month blood work and everything was great!
It is so amazing how quickly the body can change after RNY.     Prior to surgery I was on on Lipitor for like 8 years (since I was 29) and still have high cholesterol and very high triglycerides even with the med.
Now 6 months post op and my numbers are all excellent!
I was also glad to see that all my vitamin levels, iron level, calcium level etc, were all perfect!
What a great feeling this is!   WOO HOOO!

I see the surgeon for my 6 month check up on 11/18/09- can't wait.  Hopefully will be down close to 90lbs by then (i'm down 82 as of today)!   AMAZING STUFF

Wonderful and amazing results!  To me, the blood work results are even more amazing and uplifting than the scale in seeing progress.

You look fabulous and iisn't it a wonderful feeling to know your body is responding so well!  82 pounds in 6 months is incredible and I know you're proud of your accomplishments and hard work.  Keep up the good work and keep us posted on your progress.  See you on FB!
