another challenge.
Good morning to all,I'm going to try to get a walk in, just appreciate the cooler air and fall colors. My pathology report showed 13 lymph nodes positive for metastatic cancer on my right side. I'm now considered stage 3. I plan on seeing Dr. Fox, from U of P cancer center as soon as I can get an appointment. It looks like I'm in for some aggressive chemo and then radiation therapy. So my hike in life is going to be a bit steeper and longer to reach better health. Apparently my scar tissue has something to due with the cancer not being detected by the mammograms from what I can puzzle out. I had reduction surgery about 18 years ago. I am healing without from my surgery without any circulation impairments which had been a posible complication. I've got pretty decent range of motion in both arms so I have started to expand my arm exercises a bit. I wish everyone a good day.

They have a great program at UP. When my daughter was initially diagnosed, they thought she had a very rare form of non hogkins lymphoma. We took her to UP a few times for testing. I was very impressed with their doctors and staff. It was only after her doctor at UP assured us that treatment locally would be the same as down there did we stop going. We will still be using UP for a second opinion when Kate's 2 year anniversary comes.
Wishing you the best with this!!
