***Terrific Tuesday Roll Call***
Good Morning all - I had a terrible night's sleep, feel asleep fine but then was WIDE awake at 2am with horrible backache, headache and upset stomach. I did finally fall back asleep around 3:30 but was back up at 5 for work.
Soooooo today I should be at wor****il 4 unless the headache gets worse, then I'll have to leave early. After work all depends on how teh day goes. I should stop at my Mom's to drop something off that I didn't yesterday then hopefully home for dinner and bed early!

Goodmorning everyone! Today I have my surgeon consult today at 9:00 am. I am so happy to get this ball rolling on the fast track. The news that I will have to go through at least a 3 month diet plan with their nutruionist was a little disapointing because I did the whole 6 month diet at the family doctor already, I thought I was one step ahead. Oh well one stop at a time.

Good morning Pam and everyone in this lovely state!
Pam - what a GREAT idea for your surgiversary! Try as hard as you can to see the pictures as others see you! I know I have a VERY hard time seeing what others see when they look at me and I am sure this is a natural phenomenon. When you are looking at yourself, try to look inward to the gift you have given yourself of a healthy future and therefore a healthy beautiful person will look back at you. Can't wait to see pictures! :)
So today is Election Day which means no students and more JOYFUL meetings! I hope they are actually beneficial to what I do - as opposed to listening to others needs and trying to find "my happy place" After school I am headed to vote, then home to play with the kids as there is no HEBREW SCHOOL today either! YAY!!!! I have a bonus of a whole night off - and guess who will be NOT working either.....YUP...Hubby is off tonight - we are headed to the movies and then dinner - with lots of walking - we are staying in the neighborhood so we will walk to the movie theatre and then backtrack back to the house to go to the other direction to a ale house so he can have a few drinks and we can have dinner. We are soooo in deseperate need of this! Can't wait to be with just him....And....I think I will actually get to bed at a decent hour as there is nothing that I mus****ch on TV this evening - tomorrow night is a whole different story though! (GO PHILLIES!)
I also wanted to share something that was sooo fun last night - I took my son to buy some school uniforms and we went to Marshall's - always a good place for me to find some goodies! I only went to the regluar section, and only took back size 14 bottoms and Large tops - I had soooooo much fun - I was sure everything that I put on would be too tight - and every pair of pants I tried on fit......my smile kept getting bigger and bigger with each new pair that button and zipped without my having to stop breathing! :) And then the shirts were actually to big - I am smaller on the top so it seems. But the best part was I tried on a dress and it was soooooo cute - it was a 14 and possibly I could have gone to the 12, however, it looked like I was a 40 year old trying to wear the clothes of a 25 year old - so I didn't buy it - however, the point was that it was adorable and I probably would have gotten away with it if I had worn leggings. And now I know that I can try certain things on and not be all depressed. Shopping is fun again! I walked out with two pair of size 14 pants and one size medium shirt! (And a few bras and body shapers too.) I can see how this shopping thing can get me into trouble! I LIKE IT!!!!!!

Good morning all - Can't wait to see your pics, Pam - they're going to be great!! I think that's an awesome idea and maybe you will finally see how beautiful you are - we do!
I'm at work today - not much new there. Going to Curves after work - I've been terrible about making it over there but have been exercising at home.
My sister called last night - b-i-l's still in the hospital - said his esophogus is enlarged which is allowing all of the stomach acids to come back up, so they're trying to get that calmed down to see what they can do for him. He's been on Nexium for years and apparently its just not effective anymore. Of course his diet is horrible - wonder if the doctor is going to say something to him about that? But hey, he can't be doing too bad because my sister went to Bunco last night!
After dinner I kept my promise to myself and went downstairs to the storage room and started tackling that mess. Just cleaning junk off the floor was a big start since my husband tends to just drop stuff and let it lay, which means the dog has all kinds of cool chew toys - NOT. So I got that stuff up then started digging thru cartons. 3 bigs for trash already - huge pile for my niece to go thru or Goodwill to get - and one small area of stuff that is questionable about what to do with it. I made a good dent in the area but there's still a lot more to do.
And that's about it for my day - mom has her port consult today and hopefully that goes well and they get that procedure scheduled so she can begin her treatments soon.

Had a great conversation with a great friend and feel up lifted. It is amazing how you can be so in tuned with someone and they say just what you need to hear. Hope you all have a great day!!

Today I'm off from work for election day. My plan is to take at least one load of boxes up to my storage facility. I really only have about a month and half to clear out of my apartment and I know that time is going to fly - especially with two holidays thrown into the mix.
Then I'm off to work at the Doc's tonight.

I slept like a ROCK last night. Thank goodness. We watched the proposal, and just bummed it on the couch most of the night... we never did get around to putting away halloween. So, we'll more than likely do that tonight! Today is 3 weeks since I quit smoking, and I don't even have an urge to smoke at all! I must have been realllllly ready. I'm very very proud of myself.
