Just plain scared!

Wow-- Patty thank you for posting and thank everyone for your insightful replies.  I am scheduled at the end of the month and am also hitting the "freaked out" stage.  Jackie-- I particularly appreciate your response-- I have never been thin and my husband asked me if I can imagine/picture "the new me" and I tell him no because I can't even fathom in my mind.  I have talked to so many and everyone, even those that have had complications, have all said they would take this journey again in a heartbeat.  Every time I am at the edge and stressing over the choice I remind myself or my husband reminds me of that simple fact.  The one regret I have often heard is people saying they wish they had done it sooner.  That is my guidepost in this emotional storm.
