OT: While we're on the subject...
....of praying, just found out my brother-in-law was taken to the ER at 4:00 AM this morning. He has suffered horrible GERD and acid reflux for years and has taken Nexium but apparently it has severely damaged his esophogus and now they are going to do a procedure to try to stop the GERD. I don't know much more than that right now - tried calling my sister earlier but she didn't answer - she may have been back at the hospital.
Thank you in advance!!!
Thank you in advance!!!
Best of luck to them all!
It may have been a fundoplication - which is what little Hailey just went through over a week ago. They wrap a portion of the stomach around the bottom of the esophagus to make that area tighter so the acid can't back up!
I hope everything works out well! Keep us updated!

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
