MONDAY EXERCISE!!!

Alright, who's moving to lose today?!

Today, after work I'm going to head over to the gym.  Week 1 Day 1 of the couch to 5k program.. that involves brisk 5 minute warm up walk, followed by alternating 60 secs of jogging and 90 secs of walking for a total of 20 minutes.  I have to do this work out at least 3 times this week.

After that, I will do strength training-shoulders, calves and abs

WOW, you amaze me with your workouts.  You go!

I did 32 vigorous minutes on the treadmill....I feel great.  I actually walked briskly at 3.2 mph on a 9 incline - big accomplishment for me since I could barely walk at 1 mph without hanging on for dear life just 9 months ago.

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.

Sounds like a good workout - should really feel it in the buns and thighs when you're done!

I only did 20 minutes on the elliptical this morning... was one of those mornings.  Forgot my work clothes (realized it when i got to the gym this time - better than when i was in the shower the last time) so had to cut my workout short for time to go back home to shower/dress.  Sigh.  The whole darned day has gone that way at this point.

 Congrats to everyone on their workouts! I did 20 minute elliptical diet workout, 8 minute taebo tape 8 minutes on bike and 8 minute arms!  I am the queen of keeping it short! Hopefully later on after surgery I can exercise alot more!! I would love to start running again(It's been years)

Ok Lisa, today for the first time since May I worked out at the gym. I had lot of PT after my hip replacement but this is the first time going for a full work out. I am so weak....I need me a Rocco...lol. I did legs then 15 mins on the elliptical, 15 mins bike and I also walked 30 mins on my lunch break. I am going thru it (AGAIN) with my teenager. Well, she is going thru it and taking me for the ride and I am so stressed out. I should have went out with you and Tanya on Saturday because hubby fell asleep at 8:30pm. He is still jet lagged I guess. Next time you go out, let me know. I am always up for some fun.

Good job getting back to the gym Tracy!! I think you did damn good for just getting back in there. 

You should have come with us!! We had fun!  I'll be sure to let you know when I am going again!

I did an hour on the Elliptical and walked on my lunch and breaks. I have loswt 10lbs only 5 more to go but I feel like I am not making the best food choices these day. I am going to try to post on liz's back to basics tomorrow.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

I am still stalled, but I'm NOT letting it get to me.  I really think it has something to do with the Depo Provera and I think I'm going to go off it and switch to something different.  Have to talk to my gyn and see what he says.

Are these the 10 pounds you were talking about at October's meeting?  The 10 pounds you said you wanted to lose?

If so...where the heck are you getting another 5 pounds from?

I understand the whole not great food choice things and the point of keeping  yourself accountable, but as an outsider and someone who cares about you and heard you speak at the meeting, you need to let go of the freaking number and make sure you are healthy and remember where you came from.

Don't want you looking gaunt or being unhealthy.
