sticking to the basics - monday
Yeah - they were. Very different way to make brussell sprouts and we really liked them.
I sliced a pound of FRESH (not frozen) brussel sprouts in half and sauteed them in a non-stick pan with 3 slices of wegmans lower fat low sodium bacon (sliced into quarters) and a little garlic and onion, then as they started to get done added the sliced yellow squash. They all came out nice and tender and with a very different taste to boiled or steamed ones.

I will season ground beef with Parm, italian seasoning and garlic. Then make a thin patty. Place some ricotta and spinnich on it, then place another patty on top and seal.
I haven't made these yet, just got the recipe the other day. I am going to try a few that I mex the ricotta and spinch with the beef and pat all together. I will cook both and see which cooks nicer and tastes better. I think my kids will like the spinich mixed up rather than a lump of it in the middle.
So this is an experiment this evening. I will post how they turn out.
