Im at work. Feeling ok. I felt good yesterday then last night i felt terrible. My belly hurt. Some mild contractions. Then i  started getting sick. I tried everything to make it better. Finally my only choice was passing out. My parents even came over to help because i was pretty bad.

This morning. im still feeling blah but at work. Hopefully it doesnt get to busy and I head out today early at 230 i need some more sleep.

Hey PAM I have a question.????Can you have a reaction to the seasonal flu vacc??

Actually, you are SUPPOSED to have a mild reaction to the flu vaccine.  You can't get the "flu" per say (unless you are taking the nasal form) because it is nothng more than a "shell" of a virus.  No live virus particles (except in the nasal one - that DOES have live virus parts in it)

Your body begins to recognize it as different so it kicks your immune system into high gear.  When that happens, you begin to feel like you do when you are fighting infections - which can include fatigue, muscle soreness, and just general "blah" feeling.

You can, of course, also have an actual allergic reaction which is obviously more serious.  Accompanied by rash, difficulty breathing, itching, etc

Feel better!

Today im feeling blah, tired and feeling like i could sleep for hours!!

Thanks for the advice!! I appericate it.

Tanya.. you better rest.. I'm wondering if you were overtired from the weekend, too.  Marshall was sure giving you a workout Saturday night.  Don't forget, those big blue signs with the H's on them are for your sanity!! (well, your parents' and hubby's..lol)  They are all over the highway, so keep a look out!!!

Keep resting and tell Marshall to give you a break!

Ha HA.. thanks lisa!! I actaully felt really well rested when i left your place. Just later in the day/evening i felt terrible. Im feeling alittle better today. Just off. I did have some weird contractions and my mother was trying to talk me into the ER. I told her the only way im going is if my water breaks!!

Too funny!!

First a few thoughts of prayers for some of our own:

Linda and Geoff:  Good luck w/ the docs
Lisa:  Good luck to your friend and his family!
Trish - feel better soon!

Now...for some thoughts for those who haven't posted today:
Lisa Schnibb Hunt and Haiely:  Today is Haileys discharge day!  Barring any unforseen complications Lisa will have her beautiful angel in her own house as of today!  Whoo hoo!

Katie Reavis  Katies mom is at the hospital right now having a procedure to hopefully help her heart/breathing issues.

As for me...did some errands, even played the roll of the good wife and made coffee before hubby woke up (still sleeping) folded some towels and put the last load of laundry in.  Also snuck some tv time in there.

Then when I am done here, it's off to bed before another night at work 7p.  I must admit, it was a bit depressing driving to work when it was already dark out and then driving home NOT seeing the sunrise come over the LVH valley.  I've loved by morning drives home!

So that's about it!

Pam

Here's a pic of Hailey - eating from a bottle!  Once she gets the concept down of that, hopefully they won't need to g tube to keep her intake where it needs to be!
