LOL, that's alright. Another time. I did call you though.....LOL

And, you are quite welcome for the sunshine. I knew coming to Philly would bring it!

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!

I totally got your message on my phone and through my son - he was quite entertained!  I left you a return message near the end of the game - did you get it?  It was by cell number!

morning everyone. good luck at the doc today, Linda.

Today has me working until 3:30.  I'm still tired from the weekend.  I thought I would catch up on sleep last night, but a friend of mine is having some issues so I was up late being a listening ear.

After work, I am probably going to hit the gym and then I want to run up to Palmerton hospital where my friend had his WLS today.  I'll call first to check with his wife to be sure he is up to visitors.  He is probably getting ready to go in right now.  Dr. Sawyna is his surgeon also.  He and his wife are both having surgery, though she is going to do hers in a month, after he is settled in and more used to life as a post-op.  I know they are both going to do great!!!   I sent a text to his wife this morning letting her know that I am here for them and that he is going to do great!  I know she was very appreciative.

I just realized that I had 2 full baskets of laundry to do, so that is added to the list and I guess since it's November, I should take the Halloween decos down, too.

Hope to get to bed early tonight and get some sleep.

everyone have a good day!

Good morning Linda - good luck with the Dr. today - I hope you don't need yet another surgery on your shoulder!

Geoff - WAHOO!!!!!!!  Keep it up!!!!!

SO, I am already aggravated this morning.  Son woke up late telling me he didn't have time to do the dishes that he was supposed to do last night, said, "you told me to go right to bed after the Phillies game"  UGH!  Teenagers!  Of course, I told him to do the dishes from 7 PM on, but that did not matter.  Girls were fighting this morning with each other and then with me - and then again on the phone with me even after I left the house - then hubby on the phone - he worked again last night - and again tonight - because of something that happened over the weekend that he would have done differently.  (well, if you were home, then maybe it would have been different, but this is the way that it is now and I am the one making all the decisions because he is not around.)  I explained that to him and he apologized.  In the meantime, I am now at work and dreading the morning becuase we have a stupid meeting that I have NO interest in attending.  My principal is out of control and the entire faculty seems to be at odds with each other becuase of the stress we are all feeling.  I hate it - Thank god I actually enjoy my students!  They are usually the only ones that keep me sane.  Weird right?  Enjoying 13 and 14 year olds...I have told you before, I am a total geek! :)

So this afternoon I am hoping that my son comes home right after school so that I can take him to get uniforms for school which is being implemented this Wednesday and I have not had the opportunity nor the desire to take him to get that done sooner.  That is what hubby is *****ing about - why hasn't it been done prior to this.....UGH!!!!!  I really should have been born rich then I wouldn't have to work and then I could do all the running around I need to do during the day!

Tonight, hubby is working again and Molly has dance class.  Which, to no surprise to anyone, I am taking her to and bringing her home from.  Then the Phillies game - which I may or may not be able to stay awake for.  This is getting crazy.

I hope you all have a more relaxing Monday then I am about to have!

Morning all - good luck at the doctor for your shoulder, Linda. Never used Quickbooks myself but it shouldn't be too difficult if you have any PC experience.

I"m at work - had a busy weekend around the house and got a lot done. We did get the shelf organizers up in the mudroom closet that I wanted and they turned out great - lots of extra storage. Now my next big task is to tackle the storage room in the basement - you know what happens with those, right? They're a catch-all for anything and everything you don't want anymore but just hate to get rid of. Well guess what? Time to get rid of the crap! So I've made a commitment to myself to go down there every Monday night and work on it for at least an hour and make piles for trash, Goodwill, etc. (trash day is Tuesday so there is a method to my madness). Wish me luck!!

Other than that not much else going on - am nursing a little bit of a sore shoulder this morning - think its from lifting some heavy boxes in the basement yesterday, but it will pass.

Brian cringes when I go through my cleaning binges as he calls them.  Haven't had one here quite yet (only been here a year for crying out loud) but hubby is a packrat and I am NOT.  For instance, when we moved last year, there was a box that had a bunch of odds and ends in it that literally had not made it out of the boxes in 5 years when we moved in.  Granted, I did go through it to make sure there were no important documents but it got trashed!  He was peeved!  But really - if we didn't have the need for it in 5 years, what was suddenly gonna change?

Good luck!

I've already warned mine that he is NOT allowed to go thru my piles - if I come across stuff that is his then I'll put that aside so he can go thru it, but mine is a packrat as well and would never get rid of anything if I let him. MEN! I have boxes down there that have been there since we moved in 4 years ago - god only knows what's in there!
