***Sunday Roll Call***

Good Morning!

Did you remember to fall back?  I kind of did, kind of didn't.  I didn't reset the clocks last night before bed and when I woke up at "7am" I was a little confused as HOW dark it was.  Until I realized, oh yea...the clocks changed.  So it was 6am.

I got up anyway...am enjoying "my time" and then will start laundry and the such.  Due to being in jersey early last week and then sick the latter half of the week I didn't get to do that stuff.  Hubby as always took care of most of the cleaning and what not.

We got a whopping FOUR kids last night trick or treating.  I was SHOCKED.  We live in a townhouse community where the doors are right next to each other.  I know the weather wasn't great, but I had anticipated getting hit hard.  I now have bags and bags of candy, which of course I opened so I can't return that I need to figure out something to do with.  Hubby certainly does NOT need it, and I don't need the temptation.

Anyway - after chores probably some TV w/ hubby, packing up my food for work and an afternoon nap.

What's on your agenda?

Pam

Good morning everyone.

I too woke up early at 5:30 and stayed up this morning watching TV.  Hopefully, I will be able to take a nap at some point today.

I took a ride to Emmaus yesterday to visit one of my oldest and dearest friends.  She was diagnosed with stage 3 hodgkin's lymphoma and starts chemo this coming Wednesday.  They did some biopsies and I have a feeling they are going to elevate her to stage 4.

I am very worried about her and hope that the chemo has some positive effects.  She is 51 and recently became a grandmother.  I was very happy to see that she is keeping a very positive outlook so far.  I was glad I took the ride up there.  It wasn't actually too bad.  It only took me about an hour and 20 minutes.

I have a low keyed day ahead, maybe kicking back and watching some old movies.

I have been going through a bay scallops phase as of late.  I have really been enjoying them at my meals.  Nice and light.

Have a great day all.

Good Morning Pam and PA,

Happy November!! I am at work...woo hoo!! Finally working days. My new hours are 7am until 3:30 pm. What a switch from 4:30pm til 1am. This first week will be an adjustment for sure but I am just so happy to be able to get some sleep I don't care!!
After work today it will be home to spend some time with the hubby and kids. I am sure they will be on a sugar high! We had a great time trick or treating last night, they have a ton of candy and the temptation has been VERY difficult. I have been good and resisted, I just hope I can continue to be strong. I do have some SF candy, so I will have a piece of that if I need to.
WIshing the sun would come out. I have been down in the dumps and this weather is making it worse. I am so ready for some nice weather, I don't care if it is cold, I just want it to be sunny!!
I hop you all had a great Halloween and you did not give into the temptation!!

Good Morning Pam & PA:

We turned all the clocks back last night so I woke up at 7am...

Nothing really planned for today, maybe some wash, get homework done today.

Yesterday went grocery shopping, while in the store, Gene and I looked at each other in the crowd and both of us asked each other the same question. We are both home during the week why on earth were we shopping on Saturday in all the weekend crowd? I'm chalking it up to habit

Would be nice if the sun would come out, these gloomy days are so dreary....

Hope everyone has a great day...

Ida

Good morning Pam and all of PA - Pam - take the candy to the hopital and put it out at Triage - I am sure the "sick people" will feel wellenough to take some candy.  :)

I am up and dressed and on my way to the market - I was going to go yesterday butopted for a nap instead - I am having a houseful at 10ish and have nothing....whatever - maybe they want some chocolate?  The candy was not a problem last night.  I did struggle with what to eat for dinner because I had not gone to the market - so I just had some carrots and hummus and then some protein bar and then some cashews - cetainly NOT a banner evening, but NOT ONE PIECE OF PROCESSED SUGAR!!!!!!!!  And the best part - I wasn't not sad abou tit - I thought that with my severe mood swings lately that would be an issue - and it still might be - but as of now - all is good!  However, as Chris mentioned - this weather is soooo not helping!

After brunch this morning, Emily is supposed toh ave a soccer game, then home for an afternoon of Philly/NewYork sporting events in front of my TV!  Pizza for dinner - well, pizza for the kids and a chef salad for me!  (with a possible cheese and sauce, not crust slice)

Hoping that today the Phillies will tie up the series - it seems my Phillies nails have lost some of its power - I need to bring it back up to par!

I hope you have a pleasant Sunday everyone! :)

Good morning Pam and PA,

We had a nice day yesterday.  I wish the rain could have held off for a bit so the kids could have had a "dry" time trick or treating, but it didn't hold them back!

I'm working for a few hours and then going to try a recipe Nan shared with me last weekend for crustless pizza.  Hers was delicious....hoping mine turns out as well.

Enjoy your Sunday!

Debbie

Morning Pam and PA!

Woke up with a migraine this morning (not sure how that even happens) so laying low hoping it gets better at the moment.

We have a somewhat easy day ahead of us - just chores around the house and grocery shopping tonight.  We just found out from my parents last night that there is a chance they'll be flying out to spend all of Thanksgiving week with us.  It would be great to see them (we see each other twice a year now) but that also means the DEEP cleaning needs to begin!  So instead of just tackling laundry today - I'm also setting a goal for myself to start going through the closets and maybe organize the kitchen cupboards???  Both were something I was going to try and do over Thanksgiving break... but it sounds like we might be busy =)

Hope you all had a great Halloween!
