My mom used Hula hoops in the construction of her halloween costume! She is one of those people that make award winning costumes every year. This year since the bar she hangs out at is called The Candlelight, she is going as a Giant candle.

Anyway, she got her hula hoops at Dollar General!

Cool - thanks! I'll have to see where the closest one is to me. One of our guys said he has 6 in his shed at home, so that'll get us started - they aren't that easy to find, tho!

Trish,

I'll be lazying around with you to day.  I hope you feel better!  I'm surprised with your history that they even DO a D-Dimer.  I'm guessing that it always comes back positive, hence the CT scan.  As far as the sinus infection goes...hmmm...it's no excuse but they were probably more concerned with the blood clot thing and once that came back clear kind of figured everything else was ok.  Plus, with the dose of steroids you got for your CT scan, that will also help the asthma symptoms, although they take longer to kick in (but stay in your system for a longer time)  Did they give you any neb treatments?  Feel better!

Anyway...I'm hanging around the house again.  I may send hubby out to finally get some pumpkins.  We were gonna do that Wednesday but considering I couldn't even hold my own head up on Wednesday, that didn't happen.  I really want to have some pumpkins carved for the trick or treaters though!  Brian says "what's the point" this late in the season...I say...just because!

We also need to deal with his parents today.  Another never ending saga there.  They better watch what they say, though....because I'm sick and have very little tolerance when I am sick and tend to not be so politically correct, LOL

Other than that...BSG...maybe some DVD Eureka...oh, and I need to check my work email to figure out who to give my sick note to.  Nobody at work last night when I called seemed to know.

Morning all... heading out for the day from hell, errand-wise.  Will be everywhere from fairless hills to bethlehem today, running things here and there.  And trying to corral hubby into doing HIS errands...  And my mom (who is critical for the one set of things that has to get notarized) is claiming she didn't know that i wanted to do them early today... so hadn't gotten her shower and gotten ready, which is an hour-long process... just to go to the township building and get the papers notarized.  YIKES! So I'm late already and haven't even gotten going yet.  NOT a good sign.

Ah well.

Trish - I hope you feel better. Pam, you too!

Good morning all.  Sorry you had to go through that, Trish.  Does not sound like fun.

Today is starting off as a good day for me.  Breakfast on plan; no compulsions/obsessions.  Sure hope it stays that way.  I am working today, then stopping home for dinner; and then going to my sponsor's house for encouragement.  I need to dye my hair, but I keep putting it off.  At least I bought the dye last night.  I want to cover my greys before dinner at Bill's sister's house on Sunday.

Blessings, Jill

Good Morning Trish & PA:

Trish hope you feel better.

Not much on the agenda today. Should run out to the grocery store. Get some homework done, since my Monday class will be in the classroom starting this week. Due to that I'll have to have all my Sociology stuff for my Tuesday online class submitted Sunday instead of Monday.

Hope everyone has a great day....

Good afternoon Trish and PA , Liz I can just imagine if I tried to put my white kitten Phoenix in a costume!  OMG she would be one ticked off kitten and not talk to me for weeks.  She thinks she rules the roost little does she know my chow chow already does that. I have an 8 year old chow and her name is Princess aka "The Princess"  and when she cops an attitude I remind her that Mommy is the Queen and she backs down.  Today has me running errands and trying to stay warm and I think I am going to try and get up early tomorrow and see the MJ movie.  Trish I hope you feel better and to all of the football fans who brave the tailgating and elements and crowds my hat is off to you.  You are brave people! Everybody have a great day!

Wow....what an active group!  Butt is dragging today again from a late night of baseball.  Working today at my regular job till 5, taking the girls trick or treating and then doing the Paramedic thing overnight tonight.  The weekend is a mix of middle shift, cleaning, a birthday party with the girls and maybe some sleep.  It's going to be a busy, busy weekend.  Hope everyone enjoys whatever they have planned for the weekend.

I forget who said they are carving pumpkins, but I took a stab at using pumpkin carving templates last night.  One of my daughters, Ryleigh, wanted a Kai Lan pumpkin (for those of you who don't know who or what that is, think of a Chinese Dora) and Hannah, wanted a princess.  Well the Kai Lan pumpkin is best described as a cross between a bear and one of the ghosts from Pac-Man.  Cinderella however turned out beautifully.  I wish I knew how to share the pictures here but I'm not sure how to do it.

Enjoy everyone...
