ok, what do you think.
It sounds like you're ready to go on 11/11, so go for it. When you get home at night lay down for a while and nap and try to rest as much as possible. Even when they do it lap it is major surgery - they're moving stuff around in there and changing things - your body is going to know it no matter how good you feel on the outside. But it does seem like you're well prepared and that's half the battle!
Others have stated it... but just make sure you realize how EXTREMELY important it is that you are feeling up to working, and not over-exhurting yourself (i butchered the spelling on that... Norm's going to have my behind!) Anyhow.. even when you are feeling well on the outside, your insides are still healing. You want to make sure you give your body ample time to re-adjust to the changes... you're going to be in pain... tired... and very sore.
Just make sure you know that YOU come first. regardless of what your boss says. Is there an HR department you could contact about it and discuss this with them, instead of going through your boss?? that;s what HR is there for... it's technically none of your boss's business what procedure you're having done :)
