Thrilling Thursday Roll Call
Good morning fellow PA folks and the all important, Phillies Phans!
Like many of you, my butt is dragging today too from a night with the Fightin' Phils! Can't wait for tonight's game. I am working till 5, but have been out of the office most of the day doing errands and getting my H1N1 shot. I went to the hospital's support group meeting last night which was a nice motivation to come on the boards here. I don't come to the PA Board much, but I think I might check in more since there seems to be a nice group here.

Jumping in just for a minute...Trying to play catch up at work after traveling for business yesterday.
Yesterday marked 12 years since I was diagnosed with cancer. I have been so bummed about turning 40 next week and yesterday made me stop and think....I could have very well NOT have lived to see my 30th birthday if the diagnosis had been worse, so I should be happy I am here to see 40!!
Anyway...today has me super busy at work...tonight I am going to watch the Phillies beat the Yankees again with friends.

I seem to be playing catch-up a lot here too... Just getting on the boards some days is a challenge!
Am back at work today. Still dragging a bit, but feel a lot better that yesterday! Now it's mostly just coughing and a little stuffiness. Had sushi yesterday afternoon with extra wasabi and that cleared the sinuses really well (NOT kidding) so the mucinex had less work to do.
Yes, I stayed up and watched the game last night. Was fun and some great moments (Lee's pop-up fly catch and his behind-the-back snag of that line drive being two standout moments) but I'm so glad it didn't run later than it did.
Tonight I'm off to my hair appt so will likely miss most of the game.
Tomorrow, I'm off work and running continuously through a horrendous batch of errands that has me everywhere from Fairless Hills to Allentown (and several spots in between). Yuck.

Got up around 4 and took more meds. Went back to bed.
Woke up at 8...called the doctors at 9..made an appointment.
Rescheduled my glamour shots which were supposed to be today (nothing glamorous about red nosed glassy eyed photos regardless of how much make up they use)
Went to the doctors...got my scripts filled...came home and crashed :)

Instead of complaining that the rosebush has thorns, be happy that the thorn bush has roses.
