TGIF Excercise

Good Morning Everyon!
I did an hour on my Elliptical this morning and just off my scale I am now 10lbs down!! Whoo Hoo! I know a lot of it was water weight as I just got over my period but oh WHAT A FEELING!!! I now will not be able to get that song out of my head. lo.

SO what is everyone else doing to move today?

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

I'm still feeling under the weather (more so today, actually) so am trying not to stress my body so it can continue fighting this thing off.  I'm assuming that's the right thing to do.  Curious as to what other people's take on exercise-while-sick might be... 

i did do weights yesterday, so today would have been a cardio day and given that this is respiratory, I didn't think it was the right thing to do.  Opinions?  Still feeling my way through this new way of life.

My last two evenings did not turn out as planned so I am getting on that bike tonight and riding my butt off!! Since adding handweights to the work-out I'm definitely noticing a difference in clothing and all - haven't been on the scale yet - maybe tomorrow morning. I also bought myself a new set of handweights last night - 5 lb'ers. Yeah, I'm a wimp - been using 3's but they are getting too easy now. I never had really good arm strength so I'm hoping to build that up a little as well as toning what I can. And since the weekend looks pretty drab and dreary I'll be 'biking' both Saturday and Sunday as well.

Congrats on knocking off those 10 lbs, Shilpa - that's awesome!!!
