***Wonderful Wednesday Roll Call***

Late good morning everyone - was supposed to be off today taking mom to various doctor appts but she woke up sick so I sent her back to bed and I came into work - no sense wasting a day just sitting around at home. Thank goodness we don't have many people in because I'm about as casual as you can get today - but the boss is fine with it so that's good.

Barix called this morning as I was arriving at work and I have a consult with Dr Lam on Nov 6 about my thighplasty. The woman from Barix did tell me that thighs are not normally covered under insurance but I explained my 'unique' situation so she told me to bring as much documentation as I can and we'll go from there. If its not going to be covered then it will have to wait because I do not have the $$$ to get it done right now. But I'll go and see what happens.

Other than that not much else going on - just trying to get myself into gear - hate coming into work late - really screws my whole day up.

Morning, all...

I am DRAGGING my butt today... feel like I'm coming down with the sore throat that's been making its rounds in the house and am all crampy on top of that.  Really just wanted to stay in bed this morning, but noooo.  Skipped the gym because I don't want to stress my body when it's obviously trying to fight something off, am being religious about my vitamins and extra water.  But I've been burning the candle at both ends trying to get ready for these shows and with extra crap at work, so it's not surprising, I guess.

So work today, then Barix tonight.  Then blessed SLEEP.  Ahhh....

PAM - Becky and her boyfriend saw Paranormal Activity Sat night.  She slept with her light on, the hall light on, AND the bathroom light on.  For 2 nights.  :-)

Late posting today........

Mom admitted to hospital yesterday at 11. I wasn't notified until 8 pm. She had surgery at 7:30 am this morning. I had to call my sister about 10 minutes ago to find out details because no one bothered to call me. I stayed off work so I could be with her but no one gave me any info so I sat by the phone waiting. I get tired of my sister being "the one" all the time and I have to try so damn hard. Feeling frustrated that I am not the "good" daughter and am always in the dark.

Amongst a few others things flying around in my head, it's just been a rough few days. So I am not feeling the best and my Ativan had become my friend lately.

Sorry for being a "Debbie Downer" this morning. Just one of those days, I suppose.

Sorry to hear about your mom - hope everything is okay. Its alright to be 'down' sometimes - happens to the best of us. And I'm sure you're a great daughter and you have your hands full with a new baby and kids - maybe its better right now that your sister takes care of things, but she should call you with info on your mom.

If you're feeling really left out I can ship my mom over for a few days - LOL!!!

hi all. Off work today, will still see clients this PM. Gotta pay for a new car.
My car was totaled i am sure, it was in BAD shape, the police have not filed a report yet so i have no idea who the other driver is or where they towed my car.

The tests showed no injury but i am very sore today, will see the chiropractor. I guess i am lucky it was not worse. Thanks for all the prayers

Really happy to hear you're okay! Thank goodness no major injuries but sounds like you got tossed around pretty good. Take it easy and rest your body - cars are just hunks of metal that can be replaced - you cannot, so we're all very happy and thankful that you weren't 'totaled' too!
