i finally got a date!!
Congratulations on getting your date!!! Try not to go too crazy with 'last meals'---you don't want to gain weight and need to lose more before surgery. And you'll be able to enjoy a lot of your favorite foods after surgery. They may need to be modified, but you won't be deprived of anything. It's normal to be excited and scared---I know I felt all those things too.
Good luck!

Best of luck with your preparations!
Let me share my "last meal" story. It wasn't really a huge meal - it was one slice of pizza at Costco, with a diet Coke. And the particular slice I got was not even all that good. That evening was also the end of my diet Coke habit (every day since college....).

YAH!!! Mine is November 11th!! I understand how you feel 100%, if you need someone to talk to in the upcoming months who is going through it too, I am your girl!!! I am trying really hard not to do the "last supper" thing. When I told my husband I got my date his first word " live it up", geesh thanks hunny!! Congrats 20 and 21 days and counting. ~Anita~
Congrats. Looks like we are going to overload the bench in November. I too thought about making a list of all the foods I want to eat, but thought twice I did not want to gain back any weight that I have lost. I figured as one last harrahhh we will have hot wings and beer and then burry it... I feel the same way I am so excited but scared of the unknown. Good Luck and Congrats again. I will be on that bench a week after you and Anita!
