Not much on my plate for today really. Hubby and I did some major Christmas shopping last night. And amazingly only spent 200 on two kids!! We still have there one big present each but not to bad I think!

Today has me at work till whenever. .lol Then I will get the kids and make dinner. homework and showers for everyone. Im just trying to spend as much time with hubby as possible. I kinda feel like all the free time is slipping thru my fingers!! :(

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

We have an electrician coming for an estimate on a lot of little jobs this morning...

Then the gym for an hour...

Then work my buns off trying to catch up on work related tasks, some of which appear to be a losing battle...

Then do a little writing for a class I'm taking....

Then go to class....

Oh  yes, clean the house, get the last load of laundry into the dryer, fold it, clean up part of the mess in this room (also a losing battle - the paper wars are on!), and fax our tax informaton in (the extension ends today).

As for heat, I turned it on Sunday. It only ran once then...but I hear it running now. I keep it as low as I can - we're also on electric - but Mike likes it higher and doesn't routinely turn it down at night the way I do.

Today is another day at the office - a lot of prep time though for a meeting out of the office tomorrow, so I might actually be able to stay sane without back to back appointments!

Need to run down and grab my food before I leave for the day - Hopefully home by 5:30 and no later!  Then a night of laundry, dinner, puppy and husband time and probably a little Thursday night TV.  Early to bed for an early workout on Friday morning.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning everybody - I broke down and turned the heat on last night - I'm sorry - I was freezing! I had worked out and changed into dry clothes and thought I'd be warm enough but obviously not. Hubby is going to fire up the gas fireplace in the family room tomorrow so once that's ready to go we can turn the main heat off and just flip the fireplace on - that warms up the whole house.

I'm at work - quiet day - those that aren't traveling are going to another location this afternoon to a meeting about our new healthcare benefits - I will stay here and hold down the fort. Plus I have a hair appt tonight to get this mess cut and colored - no idea what kind of 'style' I want but I'm going to a new shop so maybe they'll have some new ideas for me?

Appears my mother is going to start her chemo treatments again - told her to sleep on everything last night and give me her 'final answer' today so I can start calling places to get things moving again. We'll be keeping our fingers crossed that just getting the one medicine won't make her as sick as the others have.

and that's about it for my day - anticipating this miserable weather coming our way - YUCK!! Am definitely not ready for it.

Good Morning Pam & PA;

This morning I was out early for my dentist appt. for teeth cleaning. Was pretty weird getting up, showered, dressed, and out the door before 7am. I was not liking that this morning, definately not looking forward to the early mornings going back to work in a few weeks.

The rest of today I'll do some clean up on a couple papers I'm writing to turn in tonight.

This evening I have a class in Center City, I'm hoping the weather doesn't kick up till I'm home from class or that our instructor is kind and leaves us out early if the weather gets increasingly bad as they are calling for. He likes to keep us till 10pm but we have quite a few that live in NJ in class who have a ways to travel so I hope he plans for that.

Hope everyone has a great day......

Ida

Good morning Pam - I hope you enjoy your new fridge!  I need a new microwave, stove and dishwasher - the fridge is fine....

Oh and yeah - yesterday's excitement is that we need a new oil tank!  So - any thought we had of replacing the previous mentioned appliances will have to wait because they are telling us it might be about $2,000 for the new tank.  And in the meantime - no heat....And, I know all about the cost of things, but I have decided that my comfort is worth it!  When I am warm, the air goes on, when I am cold, up goes the heat!

So - this morning was a relatively annoying morning in my house, the kind that make me REALLY glad that I work outside the house!  Josh was complaining that he was late so I should take him to school....um....NO!  That did not happen!  Emily was whining and crying because Molly had my attention and Emily HAD to tell me something that minute, Molly is just NOT a morning person and grunts her way throught the morning with every reminder I issue, brush teeth, floss teeth, brush hair, get dressed....you know...all the mean things that I have to say to her EVERY day!

Then on the way to school I get a teary call from Emily, "Mommy, I want you, I miss you...."  blah blah blah - "can you come home?"  Um...again....NO!

Thank god for reasons to get out of the house!  My hubby's job is getting to me because of course he was at work and doesn't have to deal with the morning chaos - and with his overnight hours, he doesn't have to deal with the bedtime either.....Hey....This is getting old realy quick!  He is actually home tonight.  So, now that I think about it - there will probably be arguing....Oh my life....the joy that it is! :)

So - enough of my *****ing and complaining - I am wor****il 3:15 - heading home to help kiddos wiht homework, then dinner and then the girls have scouts tonight.  Not sure what Josh has planned, the life of a high schooler, he is rarely home - always something at school.  (I am actually proud of him!)

Hope you all have a quiet Thurdsay - try to find someplace warm and dry to be.  Snow would just be the sugar free icing on the sugar free cake of my day.

Well my day changed a little bit, but kind of how I had anticipated.  I am now at work at 7p tonight, not 11.

Due to that, I'll be headed to bed shortly - most of the family is already out at work - but I hear my one brother upstairs so I think I'll wait for him to come down, say hello, and then goodnight!
