Eileen, I know I'm sorry  can seem so inadequate when you hear news like this, but please know that I know they come from the heart. Just having so many people respond to my post is a real boost to my spirits. Thank you for the offer to help and the kind words.

Chris,

I can only add my thoughts and prayers to you during this incredibly stressful time.  Kudos to you for not only being so pro active in your own health, but in also sharing this news with people here.  Know that your support system is a strong one here! As everyone else has said, if you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask.  This post could not have been more appropriately timed, as we are in the middle of breast cancer awareness month.

Pam,
Funny the expression kudos to you were also what my surgeon said to me for picking up the nodules when they were so small. I never even thought about this month being breast cancer awareness month. Well I guess I've done my part, now if someone else could take a turn please:) Or preferably none of us. Tomorrow is bone scan, chest xray and mri time, not to mention the blood work. It is real hard to just be the patient and the critical care nurse. In my head I'm doing all the procedures along with the hospital staff! Thanks for the support.
