We watched the game last night and it gave me a heartattack! We were out with friends watching the game at a local bar then after the win we took Dennis for a walk to experince Cottman and Frankford! It was a little calm but he got to see what the talk is about.

So now LET"S GO PHILLIES!

Beth OMG was Dennis tramatized by that walk?  Its my old stomping grounds. That is like the headquarters of sports celebrations.  Lots of great memories like when the flyers won the stanley cup and the Phillies won the world champ. Its party world. Good old mayfair.

I was on the 5:30 a.m. train from Lancaster to Philly. Catching up on voice mail, then have a staff meeting for much of the day.

Tonight we have to take care of some final business with taxes. You know you're too busy when you totally forget that the IRS would like some attention.

So...I may not get to the gym tonight, unless a miracle occurs. Still hoping, though.

Good Morning All!!
Woke up this morning and went to the Y for, what I had hoped would be, a good work-out. However, the place didnt open until 6am which only gave me a 30 minute window. I used it to my advantage though. 3.2 miles on the tredmill with a 2.5 incline. I never pay attention to the calories burned on the machine because it's usually never right. I had a 16oz protein shake (225 cal, 32g protein, 15 carbs) and surprisingly, I'm tired! I thought going to the gym would wake me up but nope...

Finally broke my stall! I was between 162-164 for the past month and a half. I go on vacation, dont track and I lose 4lbs finally putting me at 159.4. Thank you, Jesus! I am 6.8lbs away from losing 100lbs from my highest weight, 14.4lbs away from my doctors goal and 25lbs away from my goal. I want to be at LEAST at my doctors goal by Christmas...we shall see.

Well I can honestly say that almost every single one of my patients watched the phillies last night....and boy oh boy we could tell what was going on just by listening to them, LOL  Myself am not a baseball fan much....so I could really have cared less what happened either way.  Congrats to all you Phillie fans, however!

Anyway...today starts the absolute craziness of my week.  On the way home from work I ran to Wawa for a few things, came home, and emptied out the fridge of those half used items which would never have the other half used and stuff like that.  Between that and the fact that we purposely have not gone food shopping - we severely look like Mother Hubbard had it all over us, LOL

I go to work at 7p tonight.  Will probably end up staying till at least 9a, but more than likely 11a (which would put me at a 16 hour shift) for a mandatory in service.  Then it will be home where the fridge will be delivered and help hubby get all that set up.

I am working in jersey Wednesday...but not till 3am.  I will also be putting my bag together for that.  So I go to bed whenever the fridge crap is all done, and then up no later than 12:30am to be out of the house by 1:30am to work 3a to 7a.  Spending Thurs/Fri at mom's and working in jersey both of those nights, 11p-7a.  Not sure how much time I'll be on here in between all that nonsense....but look for me on FB seeing as though I can now play on there while at work!

Morning.

Nothing great happening here.  Working until 3:30 then home to do some moving around of stuff.  I am getting new windows installed in the house (taking advantage of the tax break) starting tomorrow, so I need to get things out of the way.  Tonight I will go to karate and then probably home to straighten up.

Good morning all. It always surprises me how early people are up and about. I can't even seem to be out of the house by 10 am most days. LOL. Darn disability. The good news is no kidney stones. I was free of that pain all day yesterday and so far today. I have a flu shot this morning and will talk with the doc about the stones. They finally called me yesterday after 4 pm when they were technically closed and left a message for me that they didn't see any stuck kidney stones on my cat scan. Well gee thanks a day late and a dollar short as usual.
I am saying a little prayer for Holly who has her surgery today with Dr. Brader. Lots of love to and light to you Holly. Good luck.
Only plans for the day are flu shots.
have a Blessed day everyone.

I don't usually post to this, but it's a big day.

1 - Phils win!!

2 - Holly gets her seat!!

3 - just had my 5th visit of the required 6 month supervised weight loss.

I've been stressing the weight loss thing ........... not the details/results for insurance. It's the Brader visits that frazzle me. He was adamant about 2 things ......... lose 10-15 ......... and quit smoking. I was fine prior to no smokes, but I think I gained 2-3 pounds the first month after quitting. I keep thinking I should've waited and quit in late October. Anyway ....... I lost 2 ibs per this visit so I feel better looking ahead to my NUT visit next week.
