Tuesday Roll Call

Liz - we have not one, but two sleepers in my office.  I know exactly how aggravated you are.  The girls that work around these two will purposely slam file drawers shut to wake them up.

I walk right up behind him and drop heavy things :) That or I just start talking to him! lol I wear sneakers to work so I sneak in there in stealth mode so he KNOWS I caught him! I actually just told our boss that he is working at a snails pace (hasn't showed up yet actually... He starts at 8 - it's almost 8:30 - I'll bet he won't be here until 9) so he is getting a little talking to when he gets here. We have too much going on for him to be sitting around doing nothing!

yesterday was a good day at the Dr.'s.  I'm right on target and have my new goals for my 3 month check up in November. 

Today finds me busy busy busy at work and then off to class tonight. 

Very tired because I stayed up to watch my DOLPHINS BEAT THE JETS.  ;-)  Woot.

Good morning Norm and PA- Hope everyone is doing okay.  Lisa I so feel your pain with the coffee I was hooked on McD large vanilla sugar free iced coffee with six equals and buying it 3 times a day til I started to feel my acid reflux kicking in and I had to detox from them.  Now its a once in while thing so I feel the pain. Not to mention it was a $6.33 a day habit! Ugh!  Today I am going online to job hunt then at 2:45 Jasper my golden retriever and I are going to Uncle Jon's the vet as he has an allergic reaction and I think its to some type of bug bite he had this issue before.  I so love an excuse for me to see Uncle Jon as he is a drop dead gorgeous vet!  Ugh! And he makes such a fuss over my dogs and cats. Norm we know you are a Kids R Us person. You could be happy to spend the day there and poor Mary would have to send out the search party for you.  My husband is like that with Home Depot I swear theres this big black hole in stores like them when men go in and take hours to come back out.  Us women are the same when it comes to shopping too.  Theres a hole where they sell Brighton Jewelry and Vera Bradley Bags for me. Poor Heather is home today from school with a sinus infection I hope she doesn't drive me crazy.  No wonder hampsters eat their young.  Only kidding (they really do) . It looks like it may be a little warm today so I may be out vacuming my truck other than that nothing new and exciting to day. Everyone have a great day.

GO PHILLIES !!!!!

Today is one of my long days.  Work today til 3:30 and then off to the Doc's til 9:00.

I got a great compliment this morning (I think....haha) - one of my co-workers said "Wow, Lisa, your pants actually fit ! "   Too funny.  The pants I'm wearing are 16's.  Funny how sizes vary.  I can wear 16's or 18's depending on how they are made.  

To add to the excitement of my day, all of the news crews are camped out in front of my building. I assume due to the arrival of Jon & Kate.  I work for the Montgomery County Court House. Berks County recused themselves and we ended up with them.  I just noticed that half of the crews went running somewhere, so maybe they are arriving at another door.  Too crazy !

I'm at work sipping my sugar free vanilla iced coffee trying to get my day started - lots of chatter about the Phils here this morning - otherwise it should be a quiet day - boss is in California the rest of the week and several others are out. Brought my MP3 in to download and create some new playlists for working out.

Other than that just waiting on phone calls or e-mails from various family members who are going thru some health issues lately - babies up to my 32 year old daughter - it never ends...

Good morning Norm and all of PA - did NO ONE see the Phillies game last night?!?!  No comments!  WOW!!!!  The scale moved for me this morning, I think it was the stress of baseball over the weekend!  Exciting but nerve wracking at the same time! WOW - it is tough being a Philadelphia sports fan!

Norm - THANK GOD there is a sale on the transformers!  Now you can play.  I can't imagine what you would do without your toys! :)

Anyway - today is my crazy Tuesday schedule - wor****il 3:15 - head home to repack food for this evening, head to the synagogue to teach the third graders, take a 30 minute break, which of course is really only about 5 minutes, when I am done cleaning up from the third graders and getting ready for the 7th and 10th graders.  Then 6:30-8:30 teach them.  Tonight we are using a huge interactive map of the state of Israel - and with my just being there, I am looking forward to playing on it with my students.  It is wierd that I like these kids....and I like math too....yup - just call me a geek....I am OK with it! :)
