Update on Andy

HI Everyone,

Thank you for all of your well wishes. Andy's surgery went well. It was scheduled at 11:30 but did not start until about 2. Dr.P was a little backed up.

His surgery did last over three hours. Dr.P found a "huge" hernia that needed repair and that made the surgery longer than usual. ANdy is resting well and enjoying his morphine drip. He is planning on going down to the pre-op meeting tomorrow night if he is up to it.

He asked me to thank all of you for the prayers and well wishes, he is very thankful for such a great supportive group!!

Christine,
Prayers and well wishes coming his way. You know where I am. Call me or just stop by if you are going to be at work this week. Andy is in good hands with Dr P you know that. I will try to stop by tomorrow evening at the pre-op meeting.

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

Christine,

I'm glad to hear that Andy's surgery went well and that he's resting.  I'm sure he's doing lots of laps and enjoying popsicles too!  lol  Please give him my best and tell him "welcome to the losers' bench!"

AWESOME news!  I'm glad Dr. P was able to fix the hernia while she was in there.  Hopefully that will prevent any future problems from it.

Send him all our love!

thoughts and prayers to continue!! SO glad that he is doing well - although we had no doubt he would! Great that Dr P was able to take care of his hernia at the same time.
