Halloween

Anyone have any ideas for costumes? 

I HATE that topic! lol I am so bad with coming up with a costume! We aren't doing anything this year except handing out candy so I don't have to dress up!

I want to see pics of whoever does though!!

Not to be funny a witch would work all you have to do is get a black dress go to the Hallmark Stores buy a hat and use the broom you have in your house and behave like a real hag! Oh and black shoes and stockings .  I know someone who did that and walked around using a lobster pot for her treats and the neighbors loved it. And dark eye make up. Shame you don't live near me or else I would be glad to loan you the hat.  (seriously)

I'm going to be a witch, the costume is left from my daughter.

I want to dress up but have no where to go this year. Maybe I will dress up for the hell of it! My boys are "too old and cool" for trick or treating now.

Riley is finally old enough to "get it", so it that should be fun. Jantzen, well I will dress him up just because I want to, not because he really cares........LOL

Maybe it would be fun for Riley and I to do something that combines the 2 of us.........Hmmmm, now you got me thinking!

Once when I was a fat girl  my cousin and I went as Mimi and Drew Carey and won second place ...

I was a Rubix cube once. Almost free to make. Just found a big square box and painted it up with the colors, cut out for head and arms, and wore red sweat suit to match the red on the cube.

Cheap, easy, and a little off the wall.

I'm having the same issue this year Michele.  For the past few years since I was the fluffy girl, I tried to come up with creative plays on words.  Last year I was a deviled egg.  I am trying to find the pics, but can't find them.  I cut out poster board in the shape of a sunny side up egg and then wore devil horns, bowtie and tail and used red make up on my face.

The year before that, I was a cereal (serial) killer.  pinned small cereal boxes to myself and put red paint to represent blood with plastic knives stabbing the boxes.  Gave myself a milk mustache with white makeup and scattered blood all over.

The year before, I was static cling at a party.  This was the easiest one.. just pinned small articles of clothing like socks, wash clothes, my daughter's underwear.. all over me and made my hair stand on end so it looked like it was all staticky.

This same year, I did cloudy with a chance of showers for trick or treat.. wore pj's with clouds on them and fiber fill stuck to it. I carried a water bottle around and sprayed people when they asked what I was.

I won $$ for most creative all 3 years I did these things at karaoke. 

This year, I am torn between trying another play on words or wearing something HOT and SEXY!! I really want to show off the new bod!  I just don't know what to do.  There was a pretty hot Geisha costume I saw and I think I may go back and get that one.  It was sooo pretty and I think it would look really nice.

Ok this sounds silly but one year my son was a MOP. At goodwill we found a big dust mop head. They were new but, cheap. Then we found a black body suit and used a long black skirt to creat the illusion of a handle. So when his hands were down to his side it looks like the pole and I used a nylon to attach the mop head. It was deffinately creative and will show off how skinny you are now. You could also do green body and use fun foam to make flower peddles that you attach to a cloth headband and face paint to make your face the center. Hope you can get the picture.
