The ingredients for Cinnamon-Raisin Apple Bread Pudding w/SF vanilla sauce are on my counter...got it from the Taste of Home mag and tweaked for SF.    Hubby can never tell my desserts are SF w/diabetisweet.  I only eat a few forkfuls of this because I watch my breads, but I just love how it makes the house smell.

I know I and many others asked this question before but, what if you can't do sugar substitutes like equal and splenda? I even tried the stevia ones and they all make me feel ill and I don't like the taste.

Oh yeah my fav is cobbler. I love peach and apple. I do mine kinda low carb with rolled oats and a touch of brown sugar and butter(fav. lowfat butter subs) mixed up and crumbled over sliced fruit, then baked until crisp on top and fruit is soft. It smells heavenly and tastes just as good.

Anything pumpkin... anything at all! And Liz you know how this goes.... take the normal fall pumpkin craving and multiply it by 12 for the pregnancy!!!

I have a recipe for a layered pumpkin cheesecake I am going to make as soon as I get a springform pan. Unfortunately, it is not very WLS friendly because it is a recipe  that uses the Kraft pre-made cheesecake filling. I am sure this stuff is probably chock full of sugar. But since I am the odd ball that can eat sugar, but CAN NOT eat sugar substitute I can handle it.

I make pork chops by taking like 4 or 5 chops and searing them with cinnamon, salt and pepper. I then add an 11.5 oz container of frozen concentrate apple juice to the frying pan. Let it melt. Add to that a cup of applesauce, I use the cinnamon kind, and 2 or 3 granny smith apples cut into slices. Throw it on med/low , throw a lid over it and let it sit for 45 min-an hour. Sooo moist and sooo tasty. Not to mention how tasty the apples themselves are!
