Pam,

I made your apple crisp tonight.  And my boyfriend (the foodie) and I loved it!!  I topped it with NSA vanilla ice cream, and he had 2 big servings of it.  I had weight control oatmeal instead of the lower sugar variety, so I just used that.  It was really tasty!  Thanks for posting the recipe!!!

I've been on an apple kick lately.  That is new for me....I always LIKED apples...but have never gone outta my way to eat them or bake with them.  Just this morning I was thinking of making some baked apples for myself.

I love home made comfort foods like chicken and dumplngs and pot pies and stuff.   In fact...I might make a semi home made version (one of the few of her recipies that actually work out really well) this week with some chicken I have.

French Onion soup is another one of my favs.

Anything warm and comforting!

Fall is fun, too fun. I want to eat everything in sight.
I love casseroles
My favorite fall food is the acorn squash had some last night

I have been too busy to do it, but have wanted to make a big pot of beef vegetable soup.

Depending on what food stage you are in around the holidays, we'll most likely be able to give you some ideas for pumpkin flavored SOMETHING on your menu.  But, at that early out, you'll want to be focusing on mostly protein choices anyway and it will be a "chore" to get it all in....

I found this recipe for pumpkin yogurt on the Main Board and though you may be interested. This is something you'll be able to eat early out. The Pumpkin Fluff is heavenly.

PUMPKIN YOGURT
16 oz Greek yogurt
1 small (15 oz) can pumpkin
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
several packets of Splenda  or your favorite artificial sweetener

This one is one of my favorites

PUMPKIN FLUFF
**1/4 cup skim milk  1 15oz.can of pumpkin
1 package sugar free fat free vanilla pudding
cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice (as desired) **2 scoops of protein of your choice 1 small tub sugar free cool whip (I use FF Cool Whip,it has 0 Fat and only 1gm of sugar)

Use mixer to combine first 5 ingredients so pudding and protein doesn't clump. Fold in cool whip and let chill. **when you add protein increase milk to 1/2 cup

Liz, would I make the Pumpkin fluff with soy milk or lactaid?

You are my lactose intolerant buddy with answers! LOL
