To Liz who seems to be the expert cooking guru
Hi Liz or anyone else or may be able to answer,
I made homemade refried beans. I soaked the beans overnight, boiled them this morning for over 2 hours with an onion and two gloves of garlic. The house smells heavenly. I took out the onion, drained the water and mashed the beans. I added some olive oil, but they are dry. Any suggestions? I didn't fry the beans. Should I do that too?
They taste good, but they're dry. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Have a great day everyone!

WEll I hate beans but I would suggest adding some water or chicken broth to them to thin them out a bit. Youcould probably also add some greek yogurt to make them creamy. I just checked a few of the recipes online and they all call for some of the cooking liquid - so if that is gone water or chicken broth looks like the way to go.
Enjoy!
