Tuesday Exercise Post

Well, a short day for me.

I'm heading for the gym in a little to do an hour on the elliptical while I watch the today show.

I'm kind of excited. Pending everything going through well, I'm picking up a set of P90X dvds off craigslist on the cheap. It's a 12-disc workout that's all about cardio and resistence and muscle confusion. Hopefully the guuy doesn't sell it out from under me, and I'm going to pick it up over the weekend when we head down towards Philly to visit Mary's family.

So who else is getting sweaty today?

no formal exercise for me today, but I'll be busy running around. 

I'm sure I'll get sweaty in the kitchen when I am making all the pizzas I can't eat.

Morning Norm and all

Off to Shoprite and then the Gym as usual for cardio and weights.  I may try to find a Zumba class tonight since I missed my usual one on Saturday.

I'll be riding my recumbant tonight - I've been going to mileage but tonight I think I'll push myself to ride for an hour and see how far I get. I can do 11 miles in about 45 minutes now - maybe I can make it to 15 in an hour?? I'll be adding some hand weights in on certain songs as well, so overall its a pretty decent workout.

I did an intense hour on my Elliptical but my back has been bothering me for a couple of days so I am going to take it easy for the next 2 days. I did lose 4lbs only 11 more to go!! Yeah!!

People comment on my over 100 pound weight loss and attribute it to my WILLpower, but it is my WANTpower: I WANT to be thin and healthy more than anything else!

I will be going to my karate class again tonight.  I will pack a change of clothes and head right to the gym afterwards.

Nothing for me today.  I took myself off of the pain medication, went back to work and had a follow up with Dr. Brader this afternoon.  Tomorrow I am planning on going back to the gym - walking on the treadmill and riding the bike.  Something easy.

You can't measure your achievements with someone else's yardstick!
