Around or in Philadelphia..

I'm 20 years old and should be getting the approval call sometime this week whic means I'll get the surgery probably within the next month.. and I'm looking for some friends that live near me (I love in Northeast Philadelphia) to maybe hang out with and talk about it or even be workout buddies.. Please respond to this if your interested.. and if you have Myspace, Facebook, AIM, yahoo IM, or MSN leave your info :)

You didn't say where you are having your surgery but you're probably not far from the Barix Clinic in Langhorne, and even if you don't have your surgery there you are always welcome to attend the support group meetings they have twice a month. And chances are you'll meet some people thru your surgery center and support groups if they have them. I live in lower PA, almost on the Delaware line, so I would not be a good work-out buddy! But I'm sure you'll find some friends along the way thru these boards or the support group meetings.

If nothing else, coming on this forum is alot of support. But I know there are lots of people out your way. I am down here in South Central PA alone.... LOL.

Hi I am in the Northeast section, and I had my surgery on the 22nd of Dec at Einsteins.  My facebook info is Loree Carter Parker if you want to add me.  Even though I am old enough to be your young mom ( im 37) it would be great to support you in your journey.  I just noticed your doctor and he is my doctor too, he is great! My husband had the surgery on the same day with Dr. Trang as well.
