FaceBook Privacy Options

Attention all Lancaster - Bariatric Physician Specialists - Support Group members:

Several people are concerned (including me) about privacy issues when joining the Bariatric Physician Specialists group on FaceBook.  I've told a few people about my WLS journey but I don't want everyone of my friends in FaceBook and their friends knowing.  I did some searching on FaceBook and I found out how to block all my groups from being disclosed on my FB page:

1. Click on Settings
2. Click on Application Settings
3. Groups application click on Settings
4. On the Privacy pull down tab select ONLY ME
5. There is a tab to edit additional permissions on your groups settings.

Hope this helps for those of you who want to join and still keep your privacy!

Thanks for sharing Liz, I was wondering how I could keep that separate from my list of FB friends. As I mentioned to you before, I've only told a select few FB friends and immediate family members.
